We did it -- thank you all! Ok, t-shirt: totally coincidental. been wanting to wear it for years & brought it with me for months but always chickened out & obeyed the dress code. That day, thought ok, break the rules like you used to. You didn't see my shock when they said Led Zep & I lost it because I wore the t-shirt on the very day, after 6 years, that we shot ER to LZ. Yup, unbelievable. But when I say Led Zep is my favorite band for 50 years, well, guess we all have to believe this was meant to happen. Will never get over that the t-shirt knew it should be worn that day.

What the hell... Led Zeppelin is not a metal band! When will you people get that?! They played the blues, hard rock, rocknroll, jazzy stuff, folk, soul, psychedelic, funk, reggae, bluegrass, EVERYTHING. Labelling them as heavy metal band is so wrong! They have never considered themselves as one!
They are often considered to be one of the original heavy metal bands, together with Black Sabbath and Deep Purple. Some of their songs could be considered pure heavy metal, like "Dazed and Confused" and "Achilles Last Stand". However, they hopped through many different genres as you said, like folk, blues, funk, even reggae, so it's almost impossible to categorize them as only one genre. I think hard rock would be the most consistent, the one genre they did the most, but they were much heavier than other hard rock bands when they released their first albums between 1969-1971. One can absolutely say they were a heavy metal band back then.
The saddest thing ever is that i live in Poland, and our old members of familly didnt get to hear all those great songs in 70/80's cuz of communism and iron curtain and now we cant even show them how their times were awesome and we, their legacy, still love that time :( Don't get me wrong i love Poland, i think Poland have the best history you cant be embarrasted, but this amazing part of history was just ripped out from us and we will never get it back. Im just sad i cant speak with my grandparents about this music, i think it would be awesome.
Catherine has a deep appreciation of rock n roll and hard rock music and so do I and it’s amazing to see how amazed she still is with the music I still cry when I hear some of their songs like goddamn 😂😭love u zeppelin 🤟🏻
