I had cataracts and they operated on both eyes with Acrysot IQ Panoptix and I am very happy with the result, I can see very well from far, medium and close, at night I also see very well, I see the halos of the lights of the cars like it's normal with trifocal lenses but it doesn't bother me at all. Ever since I knew I had cataracts and when I looked about the operation I knew from the beginning that I wanted trifocal lenses, I knew very well the good and the bad of them and was prepared for halos, and the benefits far exceeded my expectations, I am very happy to have chosen you. Each person must inform themselves and analyze what is best for them so that they do not have disappointments later. Acrysoft IQ PanOptix lenses are excellent!

Thank you for your comments, I 64 years old and wear glasses since third grade, I have a mild cataracts but is getting harder for me to read and work on the computer at work. I am considering this operation to get rid of glasses and be able to read and see the signs on the freeways for afar. I had two consultations, one was for mono lenses and other for bifocal, I did not kn ow there were trifocal lenses already until I saw this video, I want to educate myself better before I make this important decision. Was any pain or side effects after the operation? What is the cost?
      Thanks

@@midlifetraveladventures I am really happy with my implants. It's not perfect in all situations IE dark rooms close up. But outdoors and driving far exceeds the human lenses. I can see detail in leaves a 100 plus feet away. The details in the Rocky mountains from 30 miles away is mind blowing. I haven't worn glasses since July 2019.

@@timcat1004 Timcat100 Wow, thanks for the info.. Can you give me a ballpark figure on how much it is? I'm sure it will be expensive since it's so new in the U.S., but I think it will be worth it.
I tried monovision contacts and because I was contemplating PRK monovision, but hated the monovision.. I couldn't adjust to it.. I'm hoping that this may be the answer for me.. Thanks!

@@midlifetraveladventures My cost was just under $5,000. Health care (provincial) covered the rest. Because I had cataracts. Choosing near sighted lenses or far sighted lenses would have been 100% covered . The 5 k was a good investment. I spent more than that on glasses. Now I don't need glasses at all. If you are not covered under a health care system the cost will be way higher.
