It’s insane how just a little bit of good writing can change my entire perspective on Amber. If y’all didn’t know, she was the utmost hated love interest in fiction for a good minute whenever season one came out and for many good reasons you guys probably saw. To be honest, she’s up there with Mary Jane from the Tobey Maguire trilogy for me.
i wouldn't say suddenly changing her into an understanding character is good writing in my opinion. it feels like they didnt like how people hated amber unlike in the comics so they felt like this was the only way to redeem her character
Allegedly (or so I heard) the teams working on episode 6 and 7 of season 1 (where her character is done dirty by on one episode blaming Mark for leaving and the other saying she knew all along) were different and didn't communicate with each other. If so, it would explain a lot.
