I'm considering this camera because after drowning two action cameras, my next underwater camera has to be water tight even if I'm using a housing (because it's no if will flood, it's a matter of when XD) my other options are a Olympus Tg6 or a Paralenz, but I want that sweet manual focus, so problably will take this one c:
Just had a few questions for you. I was looking for a camera I could take to Disney Parks and waterparks. I would mostly use as auto point and shoot, but need a camera that will stop action well and take several shots at once. It's so easy to miss the right shot on a ride. Also, does the lens that it comes with work well in low light? Another video I watched said it starts shutting down in hot weather over 75 degrees. Have you experienced this? Thank you for your time.
Funny thing is I've never tried to - I like that beep telling me it has focused, because sometimes single autofocus on any camera can be a bit... funny. But you prompted me to find out if silencing is possible, and it IS. Go Menu--Setup--Sound Settings--Autofocus/Self timer and deselect the box. You're good to go.
The camera can also shoot full size stills while shooting video without causing any jitter in the video footage - not many cameras can do that!
That opening gave me a good laugh.

Awesome review. Where in Jamaica did you stay? Negril?
Runaway Bay, northern side.

Can you silence the beeping when auto focusing?
