@Abbi Kirsten, I literally bought clear chopping mats at the dollar store this week so that I could make top-tabbed dividers for my homemade 8.5x11 planner. I think I can make my own templates, but you showed me how to tweak the settings and what Cricut mat to use. Thank you! Your tutorials are always thorough and straightforward. :)

Thanks Abbi! I was actually looking at my planner yesterday and thinking about cutting some new pages for next year. These dividers and tabs are beautiful and the material settings and instructions were so useful. Another fantastic idea from you.

Those are beautiful, but how well do they hold up if you are carrying them in your purse?

What a great idea! Are Happy Planners all the same size or do they come in different sizes? If they are different sizes, what are your templates sized to fit? Thank you!

There are a few styles in different sizes but the most popular size is 7" x 9 3/4"
which is what these are made for. You can also adjust the scale before cutting if needed. :)

Is it possible that I can change the words? How would I do that?

You can create your own if you like! I used the Creative Vintage font from Creative Fabrica. You can install the font or use another. Here is how to install a font: ruclips.net/video/7JsiSXzi4g0/видео.htmlsi=1G2Y5UYkHpyix7sJ
To create a custom planner tab in Design Space:
      1. Type out your words using the text tool.
      2. Insert a square from the shapes panel (set the scale)
      3. Move the words to the top of square tab so they are just touching
      4. Use the Unite tool at the bottom of the Layer's Panel to combine the words and square tab into one piece.
      5. Cut and enjoy!

Abbi, I have another question. I followed your instructions on setting my Cricut to cut plastic. I set the settings to cut 4x as you instructed, however, my machine only cut once and I had to redo the cut. What did I do wrong? Why didn't my Cricut cut 4x? HELP!!
