Thank you!!! I have a 2012 mustang GT with a code P0345. This video helped me a lot. For the people who doesn’t think this is a big deal, it is. It’ll cause your car not to start, it will jerk sometimes, crazy smoke starts coming out the exhaust, check engine light comes on, the car starts to slowly accelerate, feels like it’s going to stall out, and more. These are signs of it.
This is exactly what’s happening to my 2017 mustang gt and it’s so frustrating. I was worried it was going to be something worse but you have confirmed that this is the issue. Thank you!!!
mine came out without removing anything. but I had a good look from bottom while on my lift to see what I was working on. then I just used my hand to fill for the 8mm and it came right off. it's def a tight squeeze
@@samimsahil1 ok sorry man just asking cause I'm just ordering the sensors but I keep reading that some people there mustangs didn't start after changing them out
Hey man, I need help. My codes are P0345, P0365, and P0390. Can you tell me which parts do I need to get? I'm confused since I couldn't find the exact part numbers.
P0345 is a camshaft position sensor p0365 is a low voltage code check your alternator and ground wires p0390 is miss communication signal from pcm module hope this helps out
@@Anthonyrs2 But in the video he’s showing exhaust sensors right? I would have to buy two of the same sensors to replace them? (Mine are leaking a bit so i just need to replace them)
Took it to a mechanic, he said a new oil pump would clear the codes completely. I've also heard from another shop that new camshaft sensors, or phasers would clear it. I ended up selling the car a few months ago. The car ran fine, but that check engine was causing a little too much anxiety for me
I’ve been on this mother fucker for an hour and can’t even get the god damn socket to stay and when I do I have zero fucking leverage. 20 minutes my ass.

Jack of all trades so that’s bank #2 I have a 2012 f150 5.0 it’s throwing me a p0390 says it’s cam position bank #2 thanks in advance god bless
In My case the connector seems to be stick. How should that be removed?
Where is this located on a 2018 mustang gt?
I replaced the one on my car but still got the code Camshaft, position sensor intermittent. Bank 2 ?
After you changed out the sensors did your mustang start or did you have to do the relearn first ?
Started right up

I wld like to see where bank 2 for the intake is my 2012 ford mustang is reading p0349
part number for replacement?
I am curious of the symptoms your car had with the bad sensor. I have the P0345 and P0349 codes and seems to run fine but I have a big loss in power.
That is what happening to my car. Runs fine, then it will be down on power. It still runs fine but once I punch it it will be loud with no power.
