Take care of yourself! I have been struggling with the exact same for over 2 years now. It will get better, but take your time. Enjoy the small things that the garden and nature give you, that’s the best medicine for this horrible condition. You are not alone ❤
Good to see you back, and glad you are starting to feel better. Your garden looks lovely! I have had slugs decimating my dahlias, too, and I tried the old trick of putting out saucers of beer. It really worked, and now my flowers are thriving.
Thank you Melissa, so happy to be back! The beer traps don't seem to work for me as it attracts even more? :( Maybe I should give it a try again. At this point, I'm desperate, haha!
It's always wonderful to see you Hannah! Please take good care of yourself as you recover. Hope the rest of your summer gets better and better. Love your videos. 😊
Excited to see a new video from you! Hope your recovery keeps going in right direction and you are back to full health soon. I feel your pain with the slugs! I'm in Northern UK and my garden absolutely destroyed by slugs this year. My carrot seedlings were all eaten and now they are trying to eat my tomatoes!😢 It's rained almost solidly for 2 years here so not surprising! Good luck with your garden as the summer goes on 💕
Thank you so much dear! :) It's crazy how this seems to be a universal problem in Europe right now, at least in the wet countries. I also lost alllll of the carrots! Sending you also lots of good luck for the rest of the gardening year :)
Hannah, I hope you don't push yourself too hard! Take your time for the first time. Let's wait while looking at the garden where it rains and the sun shines. Let's watch the bees work quietly. You don't have to do a lot of things. I wish you good health.
Oh Hannah, my heart goes out to you. Despite your struggles you have managed to create a lyrical love letter to summer and your garden. Your flower crown is breathtaking and looked so wonderful paired with that dress. We have the opposite problems here .. extremely dry and hot. I'm trying to keep up with the deep watering of the trees and shrubs. Also, as per county regulations, removing any vegetation too close to the house to create defensible space for in event of wildfire. I've removed so many sages, rosemary and such. It seems wherever we live we have challenges, it's part of the wheel of life. I'm just back from a big wedding in the Midwest and of course I got Covid. I was lucky to get paxlovid and on day 5 so not too bad, and crossing my fingers it doesn't linger or develop into something more. I do so hope you make a complete recovery and enjoy your remaining summer and autumn with Tommy and your dahlias. We do our best, yes? And your best as you show here is truly wonderful. Hugs!
So happy to read from you, dear Claire. Thank you so much for your kind words. Dry and hot sounds like my nightmare, even worse than slugs tbh. :D Hats off to you for coping with the heat! So sorry to hear you caught Covid, and lucky you for getting Paxlovid! Here, it's impossible to get it at my age. Every doctor just says it's not needed, but I would love to have some Paxlovid as backup in case I get reinfected - I don't want to get worse of course. Crossing my fingers for you that you'll have a smooth recovery! Sending hugs and a cool breeze from Sweden :)
@@outdoorhannah It's hard to get here too, but I have a MD friend who wrote a Rx for me and my husband. Maybe try making an appointment in advance of re-infection and laying out your case. Perhaps given your history you can find a sympathetic doctor who will be your advocate. Negotiating health care has gotten so difficult everywhere. I also believe in homeopathy and acupuncture and such but so hard to coordinate visits in the moment when you are falling/being ill. It's like the stars have to align just right to get it all to work out. Hang in there and take good care of yourself and I will do the same.
Covid still does so much damage to many. I’m keeping up with the vaccines, and so far I’ve been protected against that horrible disease. I hope your lingering issues don’t last much longer. What beautiful flowers🥰
Dear Hannah , my son is on the 2nd year of long Covid , horrible experience , sad sad sad , same symptoms and many more , have such sympathy for you ❤Skyval ❤❤
I am so sorry to hear that Elaine. It really isn't talked enough about, so many people are struggling with it and I also think a lot of people are in denial that it could also be them who are affected. Very thankful for my peaceful environment and I already feel much better. Take good care, sending hugs!

You have so much time, young as you are❤️ ❤️I wish you a good health and mindfullnes, happines and peace, dear Hannah❤️

Oh man, Covid sucks. Gute Besserung
Here in Brazil we are in the sortawinter, too sunny, too dry, cooler nights and relatively hot afternoons. But here we are.
Thank you for watching from Brazil
