Beautiful location and life ! BTW zinnias blooms like to be cut and you will get even more. I love growing them because they are so bright cheerful and easy. I cut stems with one bloom on them and fill a vase almost every morning . The next morning there are more blooming out int he garden!

Just finished watching the Olympic opening ceremony then onto French Country Life, the French head of tourism could not do it any better. Great video especially the scene from the new kitchen and with you nicely dressed to compliment the scene.

This video is so beautiful and calming that I watched it twice in a row. I wonder if you would consider putting your book on another platform besides Amazon? I know other RUclipsrs also use Target, Barnes & Noble, etc.
Yes, Australia is one of the few countries where we cannot order Marloes’ book. Amazon UK shipping to Australia is crazy expensive.
I have looked into many options including Barns & Noble. Things aren’t as easy as they seem when it comes to self publishing and each provider has its pros and cons. I decided to go with Amazon as it seemed the best fit at the time. Also in terms of managing the sales and admin I decided to publish with only one.
I am sincerely sorry the book isn’t easily available in Australia and New Zealand (which I didn’t realize upfront) as they don’t have a local printer for hardcover books. I am hoping both Amazon and the other providers evolve over time in terms of the options and quality of their books and services for when I publish a next book.

I am a new subscriber. I’m so happy that I found your channel. We love Bourgogne. I can relate to your feelings and thoughts about this wonderful region of France. My cousin and family live in Meloisey. We have visited them many times. I recognized the drive through Pommard. We love their wines also! 😀🍷 They have vines in Pommard, Meursault, Meloisey, and several other areas. They visited us here in the US this past April. Now they say it’s our turn to visit them. Have already taken to toasting sliced baguettes in warm olive oil in a frying pan. So simple and so delicious. You were looking for a name for your design style …New French Cottage🤷♀️…maybe we’ll visit one day👋🇨🇦

Another recipe for a natural weed killer is to add dish soap and liquid arthritis to vinegar and salt. But I found this with regular strength vinegar doesn't do much. My dad suggested 30% strength vinegar so hopefully that works better.

If you use a scale and a measuring cup in ml you’re good!
@@FrenchCountryLifeI find it amazing that many Americans don’t seem to have scales. Recipes call for 2/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons, for example. Weighing, particularly with a scale that shows both grams and ounces, is SO much easier.

Hi!!! I love this video because I recently bought a farm with the dream of living just like that; however, I do find it difficult to fulfill this dream. One of the reasons of my frustration are the bunch of cats I inherited from the previous owners and the neighborhood. Do you have an advice on how to deal with this situation? Thank you!!!
How exciting you are starting a new life! Well… if the cats have been in and around the house for a long time they see it as their home. They are part of living in the countryside I guess. We found our cat in the street and she followed us home so we adopted her. I don’t know in which way “your” cats are causing you any inconveniences? They are very useful keeping rodents away. Just make sure you don’t feed them, but I think you’re already not doing that, as cats will return to where they get their food. If the previous owners and neighbors did, they probably won’t go away. Or you would need to bring them to a shelter but quite frankly that could really not be in their best interest.
Can you try to see them as companions and helpers in keeping mice etc out? I don’t know where your farm is? I know my American uncle and aunt have cats because they eat the mice and so there aren’t many mice left for the snakes so it keeps their place safe against snakes. Everything in nature has a function and if well balanced, it’s better to honor that in my humble opinion.
