I don't care what you think about Uncharted, there's no denying they have the best set pieces in all of gaming. Planes, trains, and automobiles...amazing sequences all.
Also some of the best mechanics in 3rd person shooters (especially of the cover variery). The fluidity of combat in Uncharted 4 was so astounding, some completely random gun fights you'd swear were scripted events with the beautiful ballet of chaos that ensues. It sets the standard for cinematic approach, but also makes sure to bring sharp, refined gameplay into the fold. If only the platforming was a bit more free form than just linear, there'd be nary a negative I could put against the franchise. Plenty of game in there.
I got the game and I know that it has a lot of cutscenes, very short ones, but I have to disagree, every part of this video was gameplay, how it can't be a game?
That's what I liked about the series until this entry. There are literally no set pieces like the train from 2, or the mansion/cruise ship/boat graveyard/descending plane from 3. This one was just getting jumped by a giant truck and shoving crates around.
i know what you're saying and when finding out there was no "boat set piece" or "the plane set piece" for this uncharted I was prepared to be dissapointed, yet the story and how engaged I was still managed to make me think this is the best uncharted of all. It combined beautifull action scenes with the best narrative, also I freaking loved the villain, I think this uncharted (despite all it's best game awards) is underrated by the fans.
I saw them going to a sand dessert to know how sand actually behaves when making Uncharted 3, that's the kind of developer that puts passion and effort into their games.

At the awards with more credibility it generally won for narrative, graphics, performance or in specific action/adventure categories but not for gameplay or best game. Which is as it should be given that it was more like being vaguely involved with an expensive movie than playing an interactive experience with any depth or challenge. Fine if you like that kind of thing but hardly *game* of the year. Personally I found it dull after a while. I mean even watching the video above gets boring when you remember how on rails it is and see just how many times he gets shot without it making any difference at all.

I WANT THAT JEEP!!!
it's amazing when an intense scene has no cuts 👌
"Hey that was clean laundry!"
"They can wash it again!"
9:14 onward is the best part of this scene. The camera angle, the music, the fact that you have a giant marauding truck of doom trying to run you over, it makes you basically scream DONTTOUCHMEDONTTOUCHMEDONTTOUCHMEDONTTOUCHMEDONTTOUCHMEDONTTOUCHMEDONTTOUCHME and I love it.
PlayStation ❤️...
Console always great
i love the mud physics in this game and the car driving parts are my favourite
0:57 "Hey that was clean

Your video has been featured on 8Gaming! This is so amazing that you did! Great job and keep it up!
Best Gameplay Ever
best movie ever
Gamesworld+ i dont think there was one cut scene in this video. must be hard needing to cry everywhere you go.
It does look like a movie, but it's totally playable and non scripted.
Duracell Duracell *scripted gameplay is amazing
Of course it is scripted even though you can drive and interact but that doesn't mean it's necessarlly a bad thing. Scripts are what makes these scenes so interesting and intense.
Uncharted 4 is the definition of game that excels in both aspect. Gameplay and graphics. Most triple A developer game always fail to do it.
i tought it was saying no MUD! so i was focused for nothing!!
