I've learned so much thanks to you, Meredith! Thank you. I've been teaching my friends and people at work what you've been teaching me and sending them to your channel. I am autistic and go non-verbal when I am overly stimulated, that's when signing is helpful to still be able to communicate.
I actually was able to do the majority of these from the great info I've learned from your videos and a few others on RUclips. As a hearing person, I still struggle with sentence structure some but my biggest problem is reading fingerspelling.
I still struggle with sentence structure of long sentences, but I improve with practice and focus. I'm thankful that LHTS is a fun channel because it makes my effort to not feel like a chore. I've read some of your comments from other LHTS videos. It is good to see a familiar avatar.
I'm learning some asl from you. Just watched one of your videos before this one. It was the one about how much an interpreter makes. I wonder how you keep up with listening and signing at the same time. I'm a person that can hear. To me this seems overwhelming. Hearing something one way and signing the same thing in a different format at the same time. I guess that would come with a lot of practice. I don't really want to learn for the reason of money although I do understand that need for people. I have a daughter that is hard of hearing. Without her hearing aids she is deaf. She goes to a school for the deaf and I am a truck driver. I only get the chance to talk to her on most weekends. Last year she would call me and talk to me through an interpreter. On the phone while I was driving. Please understand that I had a headset on. Your videos really help a lot. She tells people now that I know how to ASL but really I don't know know as much as she thinks 😃
I’ve been so bad about keeping up with these videos and working on ASL, but with the school year coming up and our sports trainer being deaf, I wanna get back into the swing of it
Thanks for another helpful video. I saw a car with a be kind asl sticker and wanted to be their friend. Made me wonder how many local people watch these and if we could ever arrange meet ups hmm.
I just wanted to ask people that are deaf or well versed in ASL if it was ok to mouth while doing ASL. Not as in full on talking but mouthing out letters as you sign. I personally do that because I have recently started talking an ASL class for school and my teacher is deaf. So i just wanted to make sure it wasn’t rude or offensive that i mouth out letter whenever I sign.
Hello . I have a question . I know that sign languages have different alphabets in different countries, but are they different in other movements? Because I have to use external sites to learn, I wanted to know if they are different in showing different words?
People learn signs best from deaf teachers You are taking away jobs for those who have gone to school to teach ASL and who are deaf. You can always make your living interpreting.
Please don't speak when you sign or mouth the English words. Thank you! Also, your eyebrows for questions go at the end of the sentence not for the whole sentence. It takes away from your NMS.
I am very disappointed that you simply have take over the teaching ASL which should be plàced by Deaf teacher. I do find some signs that you teaching WRONG! 😮 You should be ashamed of yourself.
THE BEST ASL TEACHER EVER. FROM DOMINICAN REPUBLIC.

How do i sign up for the jump start asl i dont know what to do.?
Hey I was wondering if you could teach the grammar behind the sentences
I’ve watched several of LHTS videos but i can’t tell when i need to use a closing signal. sometimes it’s required, sometimes it’s not.
What is the difference between hungry and wish ? Thank you.
Hungry drags it down longer and I think wish is shorter
The sign for wish looks just like the sign for hungry....is there a difference?
🤟❤❤❤
