Straight to the point video again is so nice to watch.
You hit on three things that make me pause. It's heavy, and sluggish on steep uphills at low speeds, and the front fork is unforgiving, which can be addressed if you make it a $2,100+ bike. Velotric markets this as an entry-level EMB and despite its issues, it is a fantasitic entry. Kudos to them for this bike and like you, I'm looking forward to future evolutions of this product.
Thanks for stopping by!
Umm, he said he’s not in shape. An e-bike does far less if you are out of shape😂 It has a very cheap fork.
I love my Specialized but I would definitely like a test ride 😊
You should!
Great video. Would love to see Hovsco ebikes & scooters as well
That would be cool!
@@RiderGuide sent you the collab email yet
I see that is a regular sized bike. How tall are you and how is the fit for you?
Thanks
John is about 5-11
Sick man! I’m the rider from the video commercial for the Summit 1 and I’ve only send it on single black diamonds so far lol send it🤘🏼
Hah awesome! Will check out your video. Pretty crazy that you can get an eMTB that can actually handle some hard stuff at this price.
@@RiderGuide I know its crazy how much cheaper they have gotten over the years, you can def tell going off jumps the weight of the hub motor in the back but being a hardtail def helps pop it off the lip of the jumps better i think
Watched your excellent video. It looks like this bike has plenty of torque for climbing, especially for a hub drive.
Yooo! That's actually sick 🥵
You guys need to checkout the ghostcat f2.2
Great review.
wondering your body weight and if the bike lost power going up steep trails?
Steep Steep hills any ebike will struggle!
Have you guys got plans to review the max fun 10 pro? I'm wondering if they've offered it for review?
I think we’ve spoken to them but I don’t think we have one of their scooters coming in the next few months. -Paul
@@RiderGuide I'm honestly surprised you weren't fast tracked there max fun 10 pro, I believe they've got newer models coming out this year?
Cool video, and, no, SurRon's should NOT be allowed on mtn bike trails.
Yeah they should :)
How tall are you? I'm 5'11" and wondering if the regular sized would work for me.
John is about 5-11
@@RiderGuide Thanks
So don't those bikes feel super heavy if you don't use the battery assisted driving feature?
You definitely don’t want to be doing any crazy uphills without juice in the battery! On the other side extra weight can sometimes be more planted down some downhill sections.
It’s not bad I have one and in green trails where I ride I don’t use the power I only use it when I get in hilly and technical single track where this bike shines for an entry level emtb. I love mine.
Surrons definitely don't belong on mountain bike trails. Don't ruin it for the rest of us with this kind of stunt.
Thanks for stopping by!
Ok boomer dinosaur. I’m gonna rip your local trails on a bigger e bike😂
