Carl and Alex set the bar! And Carl continues to bring fishing videos to new heights!
Me and Tom at Snagged Bro are very grateful to have you as 'competition' (if we can even consider ourselves as that) as your vids constantly inspire us to create better content in order to 'catch up'.
It goes without saying that without your channel ours wouldn't be as good!
Looking forward to the future of fishing videos!!!!
    Ya breath 👊🏼

Carl and Alex's videos helped me to have the confidence and know how of how to tie my own rigs and to a good quality. I used to always but pre tied rigs and now I can do it by myself. Aside from that the tips and tricks Inc fundamental basics of carp fishing along the way have helped me so much. The level of detail and effort gone into their videos is crazy and imo under appreciated. I love the fact they (carl now) keep things simple as that's all you need it to be when carp fishing.

I remember the first time i stumbled across Carl & Alex fishing the Secret. I was pulled in by there passion for angling catching small carp on a hidden little pond! I was hooked I couldn’t get enough after that! There casting skills in that video where like nothing I had seen before. They made me seek out local ponds I would take my Polaroids and look for signs of fish and now I have my very own secret. Cheers Lads and I love Alex’s channel makes me want to buy a van and travel the UK fishing 🎣

I have fished for years and watched all sorts of anglers and channels, some good some not so good. This lad is great to watch. There is a simple enthusiasm in him and his content and this comes through clearly. As an adult who works with difficult young people for the last 25 years now I know the how fishing can have positive outcomes for them. Not everyone, but when you introduce the right youngster and you see how they get it, well its great. Its clear that's what he wants to. More power to you Fella.

Facsinating interview Carl; like yourself I was driven from an early age though my passion was all things diving and that was how I determined my future. I got to the top level of the sport and even ran diving magazines for over a decade working with the best divers in the world (if you've seen the film 13 Lives about the Thai football team; the rescue divers Ric, Jason and "Harry Harris" all wrote for me) . Then one day, through a diving related medical issue I found myself forced to hang up my fins. I realise now I went into a depression as I was only in my 40's and the last 25 years had been so focussed and dedicated. However (promise this isn't that depressing!!) I found that I was able to in a way re-invent myself and purpose - bet you can't guess what the next obsession became! 😆 . Anyway, just to say keep reinventing - keep looking over the horizon - stay fresh. Thats what lifes enthusiasts naturally do - we can't help it! Onwards and upwards

I remember when I first heard about your channel and it was a thread on the cemex forum.. which was always better than the carp forum to be fair 🤣. It was ALL positive.

I love watching certain fishing channels and videos Martin bowler John Wilson Matt Hayes the famous anglers chris yates ECT also carl and Alex helped me get back into fishing I've been every week since that was September last year... Carl smashes it with every production he makes. He would be good to get on tv so everyone can see his stuff
