  • Orcas swimming in Strangford Lough
    This bull Orca is well known in the western Hebrides as " John Coe "
    who was first recorded in the 1980's.
    His partner is either " Monny Penny " or " Aquarius ".
    They were spotted along the Lecale coast Co.Down Ireland
    passing Ardglass and then into Strangford Lough.
    " John Coe " is identifiable by the large notch in the bottom of dorsal fin
    and a bite in his tail fluke
    Adult Orcas measure up to 9.8 meters (32ft) in legnth
    ,can swim 35mph and live as old as 90 years
    Thank you "John Coe" and freind for visiting
    we hope you enjoyed our coast and are very welcome anytime
    **Great escape at 3:30**

    They are absolutely beautiful! how can anyone think they should be in captivity? they belong in the wild. What a joyous sight, seeing orcas in the wild is on my bucket list for sure!

    Boats should give orcas more space. It should be an offence to bring your boat within 200m, Particularly powered boats.
    Great drone footage. 👍

    They had zero chance of hunting with the jerks in the boats following them about. Excellent drone footage all the same.

    • @mesijania
      @mesijania 3 года назад +1

      Its highly unlikely they were hunting. You can see a seal in one shot and they swam right past it. Of course you are going to follow them, if you came across this once in a lifetime opportunity...don't worry...they can disappear and never be seen again if they want.

    This video seems so sad. Only two Orcas ? This is not the usual number for this highly intelligent animal to be in. I hope they will fare well. Hunting is much tougher for a pack animal without sufficient numbers to aid in hunting strategy. I am glad they are free and hopefully not harassed by people.

    • @Bodrikutya2
      @Bodrikutya2 Год назад

      They didn't prolong it's death just to be mean. It was a training session for the juvenile. If it was an actual hunt, it would have been over in 5 seconds.

In fact, who cares about stupid fish full stop. I hate birds too so I do. And we gotta to do something about them bees and insects. Maybe yous byes in the boats could chase em off too so you could.
