Wow nice boat I used to have an o Sullivan 14ft and love the fishing it it especially when your pulling up 3 and 4 fish at one go,lent it out to my brother and he ended up buying it off me due to my work as I was a 7day a week job. This brings bk good memories a big like on this one
Heard you mention fishing from the shore using mackerel bait. I'm moving back to the lough. Where's good off the shore? I'm after conger, cod, tope. But anything will do.

i am also looking to buy an inflatable but hard floor, inflatable floor makes me think about hooks? my concern is does the hook blow it or not because i will use big hooks for yellow fin and others. do you recoment soft floor in this situation?

Your out there with ONE motor? Dude that is not a safe thing to do. Get yourself a 32 lb or 50 lb electric as a back-up. Those little orrs are useless.

Is that a stock prop on that motor or did u change it?
Its a sea lough, he can just row ashore if he needs to. Plus he has a radio and a mobile phone which will get reception everywhere on that lough.
