    Hello, very nice video and boat. It would be very nice to have the list of the equipment you load your boat with. Very nice stuff (it seems). The wheels, the chair, etc. I am very new to that and I would like to copy tour config :) Thanks!

    Is the foldaway seat a Honwave accessory ?

  • @dwightstewart7181
    @dwightstewart7181 3 года назад +2

    Why all the extra work? Why not just leave the motor mounted, go to a proper boat launch, and launch the boat directly from the trailer? Been doing this for years and, since you're going three miles offshore, surely the location of where the boat is launched isn't all that super critical.

  • @RonMillbrae

    You have to idle down your engine mroe to shift it into forward and reverse or you can ruin the clutch dog. Cool boat though

    Hi Chrisopher, Just a question, do you often have water in the boat during normal use. and can you easily get rid of this with the drain plug?
    With a normal airdeck or aluminum floor you sometimes have water under the floor. but the floor will keep you dry. of course you don't have a double floor at the Honwave, hence my question.

    Hi again, thanks for making me feel like an idiot lol, when I’ve put my Transom wheels on I often wondered why the other hole was off set, I thought it may be just to put the wheels at an angle to stop the boat from tipping over while you push it. Here I am watching inhook the wheels and put them back on where as I’ve been throwing mine in the boat. When I first bought my Honwave I knew they went back on but because it’s took me that long to actually get on water I had forgot, I felt such a fool when I saw you do that, but thanks because if I never watched this I would do it the next time out. The other thing was did I see you playing with the transducer on the side ? It looked very loose it it was and how have you got that connected? I did not want to drill anymore holes in my transom so I cut wood to size and glues them on with sticker flex but I forgot to bring the bracket with me so never used it (Sunday 6th - 11 - 22 was my first time out ever and was on Loch Lomond. Thanks for sharing Ray K UK 🇬🇧 YNWA.

      @@lizzbien4446 Well logistically it is difficult to get off a horse and go and clean up a 27lbs of horse poop mixed in with 3 gallon of wee.. 😆.. Some do go back a clear it but its not required. Dog poop is quite toxic because they eat meat whereas horses is relatively "clean" with little bacteria. As a keen gardener I'd have had that in a couple of bin bags for the tatties 😆

      Yes, plus all pedestrians, cyclists, motor vehicles must also give horses/riders plenty of space. Not forgetting dog owners who must chase after and retrain their dogs, because a horse rider decides to use the same pathways or even beaches!!!! Horse riders pretty much make up their own rules!
