We honestly don't give Max enough credit for how brave and confrontational she's being here???? Like oh my god, she's in such a traumatising situation and yet she still manages to keep her head strong, and even discards the importance of her own safety and instead focuses on Chloe, Kate, Rachel and Nathan. God she's so strong, and so much more self-confident than she was at the start of the game ;-;
tbh if i had the ability to go back in time for a few seconds before, i'd definitely have some balls to be able to say what she said! otherwise i'd be a crying mess.

I just want to say that this was the best plot twist ever. I suspected Jefferson before in school, he always acted suspicious to me. I accused him instead of David or Nathan in Principal's office, when I was playing for the first time. Shit, I even knew that David was Life is Strange version of Snape from Harry Potter - seems evil, but really he was not. And I was right. Nathan? How could a kid be behind it all? So Jefferson. But at the Vortex Club party Jefferson totally got me. I never figured he would follow Max and Rachel to the freaking junkyard. The way he killed Chloe was so fucking savage, I just love this plot twist. Creepy, scary - that's why we love it, right?
I had absolutely no suspicions about him, it caught me really off guard. I quickly surmised that Nathan wasn't working alone, but at that point I was at a loss at who else it could be. Thought it would just be his parents or something... I really did think Jefferson was just the hot, nice teacher they put in the game to balance out all the asshole adults that were constantly butting heads with Max. Looks like they were banking on exactly that. Really creeped me out , it's a very cool plot twist.
I suspected Nathan as Priority One and all those horrible things was all his work. I even put David as an accomplice. Mark Jefferson was not on my suspicion list. I was surprised he was the culprit.

The dialogue Jefferson says when you say Nathan’s as sick as you. I really hate to admit it but Jefferson has a point. Nathan’s parents wanted their son to succeed so bad they weren’t focused on getting him the help he needed. And it’s because of that he winds up dead in this timeline.

Jefferson ended up killing Nathan once he found out what a liability he was. Victoria was Nathan’s most loyal friend and she’s a complete bitch everyone else just used him. His parents, his classmates, Jefferson the list just keeps going on. I don’t want to meet whoever is well despite all those circumstances. Nathan may be responsible for Chloe’s death and Kates video but he is just as much a victim of the selfishness of the adults in his life as they were.
The most messed up thing is since there are multiple realities in this game universe there’s potentially a reality where Jefferson kills max and gets away with everything.

What if Max is actually the blue butterfly in the very beginning and what we are seeing was the choice to come back and let Chloe die? The reason I think this is because Mark Jefferson says he wants to "Capture the moment when innocence turns into corruption. That shift from black to white to gray and beyond". He goes on to state that "some BlackWell students carry their hope and optimism like an aura". These are the people he is targeting. So what if the blue butterfly arrives just so Max can take the picture and is able to get back to the start? What if the butterfly is her from the future traveling backwards to correct the timeline? If you sacrifice Chloe the blue butterfly shows on the Chloe's casket which could be construed as Max again traveling through time back to her funeral to say goodbye. If you look at her shirt it also has a butterfly on it! I don't think that is a quiescence.

He likely was meant to parallel Max. Not only both of them have lived in Seattle and only recently arrived to Arcadia Bay, but LiS is also full of symbolic imagery, and Max´s powers and characterization are linked to photography (it represents nostalgic desire to return to a captured moment). But unlike Max, who wants to "fix" everything, for Jefferson it´s a tool for his twisted artistic vision. Also, some unused lines from Jefferson imply that just like Max, he too is stuck in the past ("I miss the 90s... it was my time, my moment", "My dreams ended a long time ago, but i have made my peace. Now I focus on carving my own private art niche", "I only see the beauty of youth. Of dreams before they become regrets", "Like you Max, I am a camera. And like some cultures believe, I´m going to use my camera to capture your soul".) If the devs ever had any kind of plans to give some other character time travelling powers, it would´ve been Jefferson.
Problem is, those are the junkies and cynical ones. The broken girls Jefferson hates. He prefers the innocent ones. Those that are clean and are still shocked by the world's horrors.

I prefer them fully unconscious instead of slightly. When they are awake and with their eyes open, they are exposed. But when they're asleep, their aura remains intact. I can hold them in my arms (no, there's no kissing). And the slight expressions they can make should they dream... Just wonderful. It's just too bad they age. I guess it's preferable at the alternative of killing them. Dead, they wither and decay, stealing the world away from a beauty that fights its ungliness. Worse, I can't listen to their gentle breathing.

He likely was meant to parallel Max. Not only both of them have lived in Seattle and only recently arrived to Arcadia Bay, but LiS is also full of symbolic imagery, and Max´s powers and characterization are linked to photography (it represents nostalgic desire to return to a captured moment). But unlike Max, who wants to "fix" everything, for Jefferson it´s a tool for his twisted artistic vision. Also, some unused lines from Jefferson imply that just like Max, he too is stuck in the past ("I miss the 90s... it was my time, my moment", "My dreams ended a long time ago, but i have made my peace. Now I focus on carving my own private art niche", "I only see the beauty of youth. Of dreams before they become regrets", "Like you Max, I am a camera. And like some cultures believe, I´m going to use my camera to capture your soul".) If the devs ever had any kind of plans to give some other character time travelling powers, it would´ve been Jefferson.

I prefer them fully unconscious instead of slightly. When they are awake and with their eyes open, they are exposed. But when they're asleep, their aura remains intact. I can hold them in my arms (no, there's no kissing). And the slight expressions they can make should they dream... Just wonderful.
