It’s reasonable to expect Bagent improving with experience, better coaching and better weapons.

Bagent might end up starting g some games if he does well then yes I think the bears will try to shop him ( big mistake)

Caleb can also talk to the great qbs outside of the organization on a personal level, such as Tom Brady. Which he has and does, Joe Montana as old as he may seem still has great knowledge of the game and position. His sources are unlimited, but I understand exactly what you are saying. I'd rather Barkley than Rypien, but $ and starts would take away from Bagent exactly like you said. Great coverage! 🐻 👇 #FGB

I like Bagent. I don’t think he sees himself as a back up, people talk about his arms strengthened. We know that arm strength is in everything just ask Peyton Manning. What she got between the ears and that kids got it! He went 2-2 as a starter as a rookie and that’s better than most Bear rookies. He’s good for the locker room, he gives it everything he’s got I say keep the kid.. it’s this kind of CONVENTIONAL thinking that God is in trouble in the first place!

My prediction is rypien gets put on PS, they showcase bagent as much as possible, keep the new UDFA on 53 man and trade bagent after this year for max value

I think Bagent is the guy. They don't need a Vet. Hes the Perfect backup

bears aren't gonna spend millions of dollars on a backup QB when they have Bagent for pennies on the dollar

Exactly that's what these fools never understand.

Classic bears move, Penny pinch the most important position

Developing a starter and developing a backup is nasty work. BearDown

Lauren you were wrong about your hero Bustin Fails, no one cares about who you think should be backup.

Yet, here he is. Shameless. Too many years of working without accountability, I guess.

This is the dumbest take. The idea the Bears need a washed up 3rd string QB for Caleb to succeed is peak Chicago stupid...
Forgetting about Ryan Griffin is a weird choice.

ACTUALLY, we DO need a veteran backup. Primarily as a second voice of wisdom. I'm NOT down with sticking with...checks notes...BRETT RYPIEN!?!?
NOOOO!!!!! He's 28, but he's only been carrying a clipboard for FOUR years! NO!
