Had this and my fallopian tubes removed yesterday. I’ve been having heavy periods that last for months at a time for the last 4 years now. I was bleeding heavily when I went into surgery and have barely had any spotting since coming out. Pain so far has been minimal. Just soreness and fatigue. Trying to pee and a sore throat has been worse thanks to the catheter and breathing tube I had 😂. I read a ton of stuff before my surgery and got mixed reviews but for me Ive had a good experience so far so hopefully this comment can ease some fears for anyone going into this process. ❤
@@whitetigerfl25 it has now been 1.5 weeks and pain is gone but watery blood has been discharging. First week after was very tired and low energy. Still some bleeding but a regular pad a day can manage it.
Had this done yesterday under heavy sedation. Extreme pain after i woke up. Today is a little bit of cramping. No way would i have had this done in an office 😳
Is this a better alternative long term than relying on tranexamic acid or norethisterone pills to help reduce excessive heavy bleeding blood jelly clotting?
@@shonkishajones7695 I'm so ready to get something done now because I've already had my child and my child is grown. I am about to be a grandmother and the medication that they had me on right now that supposedly supposed to stop my menstrual cycle is not working. Matter of fact, it causes me to cramp and have breakthrough bleeding

Yes thank you!!
Had this procedure done yesterday so far I feel hopeful to never have a cycle again
Did it hurt ?
Was it painful? Have your periods returned? I’m basically bleeding out and I need this procedure 😢
I had this done 3 months ago and no more pms. Yes it hurts for 4 weeks. But that's a ok because no more pms 😮
I just had this done last Thursday. It was very quick.
Was it painful?
@@whitetigerfl25 it was kind of like bad cramps but I was under sedation so it's barely a vague memory now.

I didn't see them remove that mesh thing that was inside of the uterus. I want nothing left inside of me
It retracts into the device.
I had this procedure done 12/19/23 quick, fast, and painless
