    Great videos, can imagine it takes quite awhile to edit your vids, much appreciate your honest reviews. I owned several rc's that used the CVD and dog-bone drive shafts, got tired of spending money on the repair parts and chucked the rc's in the dumpster. Keep my 3 Arrma Granite v1's and have them tweaked to as best as can be, those I'll keep as long as I can. Keep up the great job much appreciate your truthful breakage parts other reviewers overlook. I used Gorilla 2-part Epoxy to hold down my esc's works good for me.

      Thanks! Yes it does take a while, but I make the videos how I would like them so it’s worth it! The axles are just overly weak on this car for some reason. Replacements are not better. Most of my other cheap RCs the axles don’t do that so easy. Thanks for watching!! I have yet to bend or break an axle on my Kraton as well!

    Epic car bashing and Jumps but you certainly prove time after time bashing on concrete is death for RC cars. Concrete jumps re the enemy. Really great ramps though

    • @DerbyCityRC
      @DerbyCityRC  2 года назад

      Thanks! Yes the concrete is certainly not good for them! I’ve always been surprised, other than a cheapo kit, I have yet to break any electronics!

    I gave up on the PX9200 chassis. Its just too fragile with the 3652 combo upgrade and keeps breaking stuff. The HBX 2995 chassis however is on another level with the 3652 combo. It just doesnt break. I smashed mine today head on full throttle into a pole and the shell just disintegrated, but nothing broke on the chassis just bent a front driveshaft. I was certain it was destroyed but it took it like a champ. Thanks for recommending the HBX 2995.

    Great video as always! I can't wait for it to be warmer here so we can run ours. Parts break so easy when it's cold!

    Another great video and nice upgrades! I keep breaking teeth on my front axle gear also on my brushless upgrade. I'm on my 3rd gear already and broke every tooth on it so its currently 2wd. I'm hesitant to change it out again along with the diff until I find a fix to keep this from happening Any ideas?

    • @DerbyCityRC
      @DerbyCityRC  2 года назад +2

      Thanks! Yup that was my 3rd set I believe as well. Now need a 4th lol! I’m sure the heavier tires aren’t helping, and smoother landings while not being hard on the throttle while landing would help. Unfortunately, I haven’t thought of a real solution yet. Hopefully they come out with some upgraded gears.

    I have been upgrading this same car following you. I keep sheering off the hex nut pins. What axels do you use with heavier duty pins?

    • @DerbyCityRC
      @DerbyCityRC  2 года назад

      Yes I had the same issue. I ordered a few 2mm drill bits and actually drilled the holes in the axles out, then used standard sized 2mm x 10 mm pins.
      I still break and bend axles on occasion, but very rarely sheer those pins.

    • @chaoticadventure
      @chaoticadventure 2 года назад

      You can also cut new pins out of a hardened drill bit that's the same size or hardened Allen wrench. I've used both with great success.

      Yes, the 2995 is amazing. Going to be giving that some 3s juice very soon!
      The 9200 is ok, but I think the 2995 would have survived that same stuff without any damage and performed better too. You’re very welcome!

      @@DerbyCityRC I've only been running it on 3s just set the punch on 3 since it pops wheelies on anything higher. That center diff is just the cherry on top. I think Haiboxing Toys is just far superior to any other Chinese RCs and is on par with the big name brands. Another example is the 16889a PRO. That thing is a tank and unbreakable. I have yet to buy one but your review video proved that.
