Ukraine war reminds me of the Iraq invasion by US under false justification. At least Russia has a point in not allowing more NATO (US) bases on its borders.
How could people ever thought that Russia would allow NATO (US) to keep building bases on its borders and do nothing?Or that Ukraine could win a war against Russia? Not even with NATO support. In a hypothetical situation, would US allow China or Russia to build bases on its borders? Remember Cuban missiles crisis?

Only 2000 RU soldiers are storming Vovchansk, while AFU has rushed 10,000 men to defend it. The reporter is 100% correct (I'm really shocked! for a Western media channel), the point is to tie up more AFU from other areas because they are forced to come defend it. Because RU has a 10 to 1 firepower advantage, they only need a few thousand men, while Ukraine needs five times as many to keep the place from being overrun with ease.

Why wont they ever mention that the goal is a buffer zone? Instead they mention secondary motivations like spreading out Ukraines defence. That is just a bonus but a buffer zone is the goal.
