    Excellent review. I bought this recently and I was not able to figure out how to covert it to a sling… until I watched your very clear explanation. Thank you!

    I have been using the Wandrd Fanny D1 daily for a year and a half now and I love the pack! It's small enough to put your keys/wallet etc but also doesn't scream STEAL ME. It also can be packed out a bit if you needed to without looking awkward and the grab handles are amazing since I wear it sling style. Great review as always. Really enjoy watching your videos!

      Thanks so much Alain! Totally agreed - it’s extremely versatile while also being subtle and just really fun to use!

      Do you still have the bag? How is it holding up? I'm concerned about the water proof coated material degrading in a few years.

    • @saxophonicmusician
      @saxophonicmusician Месяц назад

      @@SandraBegotka Yes I still have the bag and still use it, haven't had any issues with the material at all.

    I use the fanny probably about 90% as a fanny so the D1 is perfect for me. This might not be as common but the orientation that I have it in is that the bag is actually behind me as it is perfect for when I bike around places. One thing to note that most other reviews haven't mentioned (makes sense because its more of a custom solution for me and probably not for everyone) is that the loop where you put the hook sling converter is actually perfect to put my keys on. In my orientation where I have the fanny facing my back, I can hook my keys (that are on a carabiner) right onto the hoop on the right side and the location of the hook mimics the exact same spot as a jean belt loop where I would usually put my keys. This is handy if it is rainy or snowy (I live in canada) or if the fanny is packed super tight and I don't want to even open my fanny to access my keys.

    Fanny packs can be useful for holding small items, but the hardest thing to carry is water. They make back packs with a water supply, but these backpacks are then not so useful for other things. The best place to carry water is at hip level, so it would be nice if they made a one-gallon fanny pack.

    • @Nomads.Nation
      @Nomads.Nation  Год назад

      I think given the strange, bulky size of a water bottle, I would respectfully disagree that the best place to hold a water bottle is at hip level. Backpack makes the nose sense

    Thanks for the review. I own this fanny pack and honestly still don’t understand how to pull the strap through the back to make it shorter. My manly son-in-law gave it to me and I really like it but still confused.

    Hola! Muy buen análisis de la sling bag!! Una pregunta, cuando tu miras la sling bag de frente el cierre imán de la correa va a la izquierda. ¿Se puede cambiar a la derecha? O, en el caso de d que l correa se rompa, se puede cambiar? Es que da la sensación de estar cosida. ¿ o usa el mismo modo de enganchar que las techbags? Muchas gracias. Un saludo desde España

    camera - gopro water case
    microphone - RODE videomicro

    floating wrist strap
    i saw all the models of the slings (6L i guess will be enough)
    Thule / Instinct / Wandard roam / Peak Design / Moment Rugged
    / Nomatic
    and im not sure if they are right for me because they all for DSL cameras and i need somthing that is wider for the selfie stick hopfully large enough to be with the camera gopro intact
    the other option i though about was the orgenizer whice is like a suitcae witha lot of straps which is amazing but the downside is that its not a pouch that is easy to carry
    please please please, couls u help me find a soloution ?

      Ahh not sure Andy, please let us know if you find out! 🙏🏽

    • @expiringcity
      @expiringcity 2 года назад +2

      The answer is unfortunately not. It seems like the D1, while looking like the tech and toiletry bags, was produced first and thus outside the system of the tech and toiletry bags. The toiletry and tech bags inherited the look of the D1, but then got the upgrade of being able to latch onto a prvke.

    • @AndyKunkel
      @AndyKunkel 2 года назад

      @@expiringcity So I got the toiletry bag because it was a bit cheaper than the tech bag of the same size, the medium. I'm glad I went with the toiletry bag because the tech bag would have been a tad too small in medium for my use. I plan on getting the large tech bag soon.
