    I am just wondering, bakit Alibata po ang 1st alphabet? It is baybayin po. Alibata is a coined word po by Paul Versoza in 1921.

    Alibata?
    I thought the first filipino alphabet is Baybayin.

    • @dreadbunny97
      @dreadbunny97 3 года назад +3

      Alibata is an ancient Filipino script that is believed to have originated from the Javanese' old kawi script. ... Baybayin is the proper term for this ancient script.

    Question: Among these periods, when can we trace the gender equality in literature? Thanks!

      @@useronioncrisis Hi! Can you expound on this?

    • @useronioncrisis
      @useronioncrisis 2 года назад +6

      @@lorenzalexistenorio3826 Gender equality is already prevailing in the pre-colonial era. We have these mystical healers called Babaylan and most of them were transgender. They served as religious leaders and treated as equal with the people's political leader back then. They were also perceived to have knowledge most people don't have. "Siya'y naging siya at patuloy na nagiging siya." Even pronouns in our own language are a manifestation of gender equality. Nung dumating lang ang mga Espanyol nagsimula ang Adan at Eba.

      @@useronioncrisis Amazing stuff! Nakatutuwang malaman na hindi likas sa ating mga ninuno ang diskriminasyon sa kasarian. Ganumpaman, ang nais kong malaman ay kung saang parte ba ng kasaysayang nagsimulang magkaroon ng "gender equality" sa larangan ng literatura / literature. Marahil ay hindi malinaw ang pagkaka type ko sa una kong comment. I appreciate your efforts tho, may natutunan ako. 🤗

    • @useronioncrisis
      @useronioncrisis 2 года назад +1

      @@lorenzalexistenorio3826 Hala, pasensya ka na, brainrot era ko po, baka mahina lang talaga reading comprehension ko. Hindi rin ako sigurado kung may mahahanap ka bang any sources about gender equality in literature sa pre-colonial period. But I'm sure na baka meron sa ibang periods since doon lang talaga sumibol ang literatura. Pwede niyo po akong punahin 'pag may mali akong nasabi. Good luck na lang po at galingan! Good to know rin na may nalaman ka sa ibinahagi ko.
