- I'm drn and this is our first game in this week's tournament, here we'll face ZeroesDream. He's facing off against us with beautiful regimented lines of Fangs and Steelballs. Can we win, or will his parade ground formation make a parady of us?
Hope you enjoy watching as always. Anything you think I've done wrong or could do better please let me know, I'm always looking to improve both my gameplay and the video quality. Suspect there's quite a few epic fails here!

Awww, thank you so much! Compliments always make my day. These videos come from me wanting to share something I find great joy in, playing in these tournaments once a week, with friends. So I try and show the whole experience; wins and losses, highs and lows, how much we learn as much from our opponents, and just how much fun playing all out can be.
I'm very fortunate that the algorithm has shared my videos with so many people, and have loved all the support, tips and tricks that people have given here. Double the stats half the price, can't say fairer than that!

Thanks dude, you're doing great yourself! Remember we play games for fun, if you get stressed take a deep breath and grin like I do, these are the moments we live for.
Stronger opponents mean we learn more and faster, so losses today mean wins tomorrow. We play to improve, not to win one game. Single games dont matter, as long as we're improving we're winning the long game. Take breaks and reset your mental when you need to, dont just click play again endlessly. Good luck, and remember to have fun!

Im honestly really surprised your oponent didn't go fire stormcallers. Fire stormcallers together with the scorpions would have eaten all your ground forces and then your air units would have been overwhelmed. Seemed like a big mistake to go for shielded fangs instead.
Guessing he felt the fights were close enough that doubling the HP on his pseudo-carry fangs would be enough to buy his Scorpions & Pheonixes time to answer our threats.
In the late game think our air superiority distracted him from going Stormcaller. Hard to tell really, you're right that fire Stormcallers are a very solid pick into most ground battles but can also see why they wouldn't be at the fore of our opponents mind, fighting into Overlord and Phoenix combi threat.
@@Drone_101 I guess my read on the situation was that your oponents biggest issue was not your air power. When they were able to destroy your ground forces, especially the chaff, fast enough their phoenixes and other anti air proved equal to the task of defeating your overlords and phoenixes. He just needed to kill the chaff quickly so the scorpions could kill the sledges. Fire stormcallers would also whipe out your mustangs which I thought proved extremely effective.
More importantly, going fang carry is almost asking to get hit with fire stormcallers yourself. If you had not won when you did I would not have blamed you for taking fire stormcallers yourself to wipe out the fangs.
New player here: any tips about dealing with wraiths? Love the videos btw :)
Ooh Wraiths can be super spooky especially if people are using them aggressively and taking techs on them. Check to see if they have armor as an option. If they do avoid relying on mustangs that game.
I like Anti-air Marksmen for early game answers and Melting Points with range for later game. Make sure you're clearing the chaff on the ground too so you can target them cleanly. Sometimes the best answer is air superiority of your own; Phoenixes and Overlords will beat them but dont play into an Air Specialists strengths if that's what your opponent is playing. Clear the chaff and then hit them with the big bat of your choosing, all of the above will work. Good luck, hope that helps!
@@Drone_101 ok ok, thanks for the advice, I found overlords felt good into wraiths the game I played before making the original comment, but I think tech specialist made them too expensive when trying to pay from behind lol, I will try these tips out.

Overlords aren't worth upgrading?
It really depends. If they're your principle dps or carry then it's worth prioritising upgrading them. But if they're more supportive, or able to fulfil their role without the extra 200 that gold can also be better spent elsewhere.
Priority is almost always buy your two units a turn, counter your opponents units and tech and look for the best value andimpact on the board. I'm not perfect and often make mistakes, so do let me know if you think I missed something!
