I got quoted R20k just convert from std carb to mp9 which I doubt it would even give more power. I wouldn't spend that type of money but you can't put a price on happiness 😂
It will make your life easier (no need tuning your ignition timing & setting your carbs), if your car is standard, it will make a slight difference as fueling electronically controlled. BTW for R20k they should be able to fit an ABF. Maybe a bit extra for fuel tank & pumps etc.
Hi there. No didn't gasflow the cylinder head, reason I can't pay 4500 to gasflow a head then just gain 4/5 kw. Will have a look at dyno next month will see. Thanks for your comment 👍
Hi there. When I changed the motor was told to run with a bigger radiator and that was the only size they had. It's really good doesn't let the car run to hot in traffic. Thanks for your support.
Hi there. 38/38 weber carburetor will be better at higher rpm no doubt. Idle no, going to be very rich on fuel, and fuel economy is going to be worse, as a daily drive. Thanks for your comment and support.

To answer you no. The the reason for that is i have a 1.8i in my caddy and its mp9 feul is great and performance is amazing

Modifying your car is a rabbit hole. BTW my VR6 24V gets 16l/100km in traffic so your car is light.

If I may ask, Why are you using such a big radiator? Never seen a Mk1 Golf with that size radiator before...
