Love both versions your & Angels’s they both look great. Also loved the look of your white dobby fabric you used. Great to wear in the summer.😊

Thanks so much Ali, I have to say I've actually been wearing the cotton Dobby one more lol, it's much more versatile and more comfortable. I've now got a skin coloured bra to wear with it too. I'll be making more though for sure xx

Hiya! Aww thank you so much Ana, yes I agree about the NL6446 for the top. My dobby version is getting more wear than the set lol, it just pairs up with so many things.
We had a lovely holiday thanks, although much wetter than usual lol. Enjoying the break from the school run though and spending time with the boys.
Hope you also had a good time away? See you soon! Xxx

Thank you, he's really coming along with his guitar playing. His lessons restart next week at school 😁. Yes I agree, it's a bit cold isn't it for this set. Mine hasn't gotten as much wear as I'd have liked! Thank you so much for watching and commenting xx

Loved both versions you and Angela made. I had actually decided to make the Reynolds top ( Helens Closet) and the Saguaro (Friday) pants before Tilly brought this pattern out. Try a different bra with the top that may make a difference, on the subject of bras try a flesh tone. Have a fantastic holiday. Val❤️🇨🇦🇬🇧

Hiya Val, thank you so much ☺️! Do you know what I was actually thinking about the Reynolds top being very similar!! I'd love to try that pattern out too. I will definitely try another bra with it and I'm off to get some flesh coloured underwear lol xx

I think both sets look great, and very summer-y. On fit, fabric can make a big difference. That dobby looks quite loosely woven, which will give it some natural stretch, while the crepe is more dense. I found this out myself recently when I made the same trousers in a linen and a wool blend. You would think the linen ones are a whole size larger - the difference is really noticeable, especially in tighter-fitting areas.

Thank you Eileen, on the whole I'm pleased with how it turned out and it'll definitely get lots of wear, but certainly need to toile in a fabric that's a bit more similar to what I intend to make it in then don't I lol.
I find Linen like that too, I just never thought cotton would behave the same way ☺️. Xx
