Some of us white people( I'm old) had older relatives who were raised with prejudices. Most people who became parents after world war 2 saw the disparity and taught their children it was wrong. I'm also 66. When I was 5 my grandmother warned us kids that if she ever heard one of us use the N word that we would be in huge trouble with her. At that time there were riots and marches for civil rights going on and we also entered a really deep and dangerous era of the cold war with the Soviets and Viet Nam was ramping up. We've already lived through a lot of the same things they are pulling out again. It's not hard to pull up facts that show the right usually has to come behind to fix things the left caused for many decades. God bless these young men for taking the time to see both sides and making their own decisions instead of following the narratives.
