Being honest, I spend a lot of time talking to people of all types, and I find that most people are like this. It is just a matter of staying calm, stating your position, and listening to and at least trying to understand one another's perspectives, and then trying to determine ways in which to keep moving forward and continue improving. In my experience, the older black people I speak with tend to be a little more level-headed and calm/rational/understanding, and I think this is mostly due to the fact the younger generations are absorbed with a victim mentality complex (which has been created and pushed onto society by those who wish to divide us).

Ive seen several reactions from Dad now. And I really appreciate the fact he listens and is generous with both his comments and commentary. It allows others to likewise be generous in recieving a much needed diverse introspection and perspective on issues that bring us closer together throigh inderstanding instead of tearing us apart and segregating us.

Tom and Adam are both 100% independant and have a massive following. Please got down the Tom rabbitt hole, you will be glad you did (and your subs will skyrocket). He speaks the truth always. (He has a few songs with Dax already). Tom writes all his own lyrics, makes all hisbown beats and his girl Nova shoots and produces all his videos. 1,000% independant.

Tom MacDonald is Canadian but has lived in Los Angeles for the past 11 years, 7 with his girlfriend, Nova Rockafeller, also a Canadian and an artist herself. She directs, shoots and edits all his videos. People call him a conscious rapper, but I don't think Tom likes to be labeled. He just pays attention to what's going on and points out the hypocrisy he sees, no matter what 'side' it comes from. He's a true artist, using his voice to get his message out. Being 💯 independent, he has the freedom to do that. He has no label, no manager, no distributor; no marketing team, he does everything himself from his house, with Nova, his parents, his sister, her husband and a couple of friends as his whole team. this is the first i hear of this song. i enjoyed your reaction video and your perspective. i'm Canadian, in the State, you had black and white struggles, black trying to escape to Canada for freedom. here in Canada, our struggle was French vs English. 1755, the French from the Acadian peninsula were deported to Louisiana (where you get the Cajun)... some stayed some eventually came back but always felt economically repressed for a very long time. my ancestors were poor and had a lot of hard time too. so when you're talking about whites having a 400 years head start, not everyone that's white had a head start. i always thought that the English came to Canada and took our land but a few years ago i learned that it's the king of France that sold our land to the English, they were just claiming their land however they felt they had to. sometime, everybody hurt, some ways, different ways so i wish, my wish would be that we could understand each other's pain may be different but not necessarily more or less. pain is pain, many still hurt. instead of competing against each other if we could work together. we would all be better off. I'm a middle aged white guy who really enjoys Tom's music and his collaborations with other artists. Tom is not afraid to speak about anything and I believe he does it with great messaging in his music. But I'm not able to listen to his music and understand it from a Black person's perspective. Therefore, I really love watching reactions to his music by people of color. This really helps me to get a better understanding of a Black person's perspective on a particular subject. One thing that Tom said that I never thought or understood until listening to this song is although we haven't had slavery in a very long time that experience is part of a Black person's DNA. This is very enlightening to me and helps me to understand just a little bit more about how a black person may feel about certain things even though they were not slaves anymore. This channel also allows us to hear reactions from two generations. I really wish I could sit down have dinner and a meaningful conversation with these guys. I'm certain I could learn a lot from these two especially Dad. I'm really looking forward to more reactions from these two.
