Classic Steelhead Flies: the Skagit Special

This fly is a West coast winter pattern that I think will also do well in stained wanter conditions in the Great Lakes tribs.
Materials List:
Hook: Kamasan Deepwater Salmon Single 1/0
Thread: UTC 140 Red
Body: Rear 2/3 Silver Tinsel
Body: Front 1/3 Orange SLF or Seal
Rear Hackle: Yellow Marabou
Front Hackle: Orange Marabou
Collar: Teal or Guinea

Most definitely. I've caught quite a few chinook on flies with a clour scheme like this.
