Davy Jones is honestly one of the coolest characters in POTC. Love the depth they put into his character. And of course the theme
He really did love her. He played the hell out this role
indeed as soon as she had her power he was with her again and he sensed that
Only when someone truly gets their heartbroken and goes through the same pain Jones went through, could they truly understand the way he felt. Thats why his character to me now has become 1000 times more relevant because you never expect to get heartbroken in a horrible way by someone you love, truly.

I myself can understand the wait for the one special heart that is ment for oneself i waited 16 years for mine she knew everything there was about me more then anyone i know and in the three months i finally got to have her she used my heart as a way to manipulate me to get her where she needed in life waiting on the one she really wanted with and i was left on my hands and knees picking up what broken peices of my heart that was left just to watch bleed through my fingers like sand in the wind and the part that hurts the most she was my one and only best friend we grew up together from childhood so i totally can feel davy jones on the pain is so unbearable wants vengeance on breaking his heart but even after he felt betrayed he deep down as i do will still always love her until the heart stops beating one day its a terrible pain to just be so upset from being that betrayed and just want to lash out with how it felt with said person but soon as shes near just to only be flooded with fear knowing she can still control you and i still to this day tremble when shes near love is a two edge sword you swing one way to protect your loved ones heart or swing the other way to betray them thats my relation to davy jones broken heart sorry for the way too long story guys but always protect your hearts at all costs

the organ can convey a lot of emotions when played . same can be said with any other instrument. but it seems more real and sincere with a pipe organ.

playing this in a ship while sailing trough the storm yet also say: this is the flying dutchman.
There is a PC game/mod called Pirates of the Caribbean: New Horizons that uses this theme whenever there's a storm in the game. It's brilliantly paired.
Think about how it was for mariners and sailors before industrial power, there was always a good chance they could die way out at sea, they could be out for weeks or months not seeing their loved ones, or may never see them again.

The song to play after a break up, and it starts to sink in; then it is acknowledged and you snap inside, it storms in you with a passion churning around your heart intensely, it starts burning like fire torching everything in its path from joy and security to personal thoughts and feelings, then it smolders dimming down it feels lukewarm and becomes cold...It chills you until you become numb and like one trapped in a blizzard, you lay down hoping for peace and warmth to return once more.

When you can listen to a song, and feel the raw emotions belonging to the character it’s devoted to... you know you’ve listened to a true masterpiece, and one god damn godly piece.
I listened to this and literally felt my stomach turn with sadness, loneliness, rage and wrath. Almost brought me to tears on the spot, and then I turned around and felt like stabbing someone.

And most of all, makes me feel compashion for Davy Jones and other "villains" in movies because they all have a purpose of why they got to where they were. Not because they were born like it no, because they went through so much.
It's truly heartbreaking and deeply thought of. :(

I was once with my first love, she wasn't faithful and over the course of 4 years I suffered her betrayals. When I finally gave up, I thought I was free.
