When it comes to Red Eyes Ryoshu, she is just strong. You dont need to care about bleed if the enemy is pulverized. It depends on the stage but if it features enemies weak to Blunt dmg, then there is simply no better choice. Once she ramps up and does her execution move... good luck surviving that. Generally from my small testing both her, new Don and Yi Sang deal so much dmg that the bleed just needs to be there so that Yi Sang procs his S2 easier. The true test will be the next RR. The previous one I cleared with Sinking and to be frank there were fights where keeping up sinking count did not matter cause Heathcliff ramped up and cleaned all. With all that said, I think we are due some Mersault Bleed ID, a proper one. Come on, Cassetti Sault.
I mean you say that but it is *highly* unlikely any bleed ID we get for meursault is going to do better in a bleed team then Rhino ever will. He deals so much count I doubt any bleed ID from him will outshine that.
Yeah you don't have to care about bleed with her but all the bloodfiends need bleed to actually get ramped so unless you wanna take like 10 turns to actually get their enhanced skill 3 you should be running count (outside of MD of course)
@@Blade12113 Not to mention Yearning Mircalla's passive lets RMeursault apply Bleed Potency, which was his one weakness, and Regret rounds out his numbers if you find them lacking. Swap him out in MD but everywhere else he's a must.
@@kidx4255 He actually gets screwed by the Tier 4 fusion gifts lmao. The Burn one that gives +1 Coin Power just makes him roll worse when he hits Heads because it's now -5 instead of -4, same with S1 and S3 so you shouldn't run him there which sucks
A small note of Manager Sancho's Lust Counter(s) - they're actually pretty dang good at helping manage Bleed Count throughout the fight, since with them you always have an on demand + 2 Count (so long as she can Clash, anyway). Between hers and BF Rodion's Counter you can somewhat guarantee + 3 Count per Turn at bare minimum, which is really nice when starting out Canto fights or when you want to preserve Sin for later bosses in RRs. On another note, Lust Res Teams are now extremely robust with Manager Sancho, as between her, Bf Rodion, and Wild Hunt Heathcliff you got three Sinners with Lust Power Counters to brute force Bench Whistles for your team or a guaranteed +4 if you run N-Faust on the field for that juicy + 15 on two Sinners. A team with the aforementioned trio + N-Faust and BF Gregor covers all your Sin Affinities and most of your Count needs while being able to spam Whistles, fuel any Pride, Envy, and especially Lust bench passives, and having all the AoE and nuke Skills you could ever want. Last slot is flexible - Maid Ryoshu gives you MORE AOE, her Base EGO, and qualifies both her and WH Heath for Middle Meur's Passive, while Rhino Meursault does funny Bleed Count things and Ring Sang is Ring Sang. Bloody good time with this kind of team overall, me thinks!
I don't see anyone mentioning it but the Surgery buff from Screwloose Wallop gives permanent Haste based on the count (and some damage). You might not get the Coin Power from Regret but you don't get it either when you're running Electric Sheep and this team can absolutely afford to tank a few hits unopposed with all their healing. Just Corrode it once and you get 2 Surgery aka a permanent 40% damage buff and a permanent 2 Haste for the rest of the Encounter (your max HP does go down to like 147 which sucks a bit but it's absolutely managable). With this his base speed goes from 3-5 to 5-7 and with the current RR buff (+2 max Speed) it goes to 5-9 BASE without any Charge or his Passive. With his Passive and 15+ Charge he goes to 5-13 (5-15 in RR4) so you have a pretty good chance to get the 7+ Speed he needs for his S2 condition. Very underrated EGO in this comp. You can also just Corrode it again so your minimum Speed becomes 7 and you always hit the conditional at the price of having like 50 max HP which may not be necessarily an issue if you keep winning Clashes or redirect properly and it does basically double his damage (80% damage buff) so he hits like a truck which is funny
enhanced counter with full resonance is actually insane on canto 7, you basically get free bloodfeast for whole team without dying to Dulcinea's 20x3 bleed application
Something to be said about using Outis, either ring or barber, is that having ya sunyata is pretty nice for lust damage which both ids have, and of course to pathos mathos passive giving 30% damage up with all skills as long as you aren’t getting hit, making her damage really good
You don't need Mersault; Rhino Mersault only has bleed count, which doesn't solve the problem that he needs three turns to start up. He has low clash power, his defense skill is not Lust, and the only Lust skill is S3, which is rare and requires startup. Many EGO require lust abs res now, so that could be a problem. However, you can use N Faust. The only issue is the low clash power, but she also has bleed count, applies nails, and her defense is Lust, so you can lust abs res 6 anytime. She has fluid sacs and the perfect skill sin color for the EGO needed. As for Red Eyes Ryoshu, although she doesn't have count, she is an excellent clasher. Contempt is actually good now that you can get lust abs res 6 very easily if you build your team correctly. The only problem with Contempt is you need absorb Lust for it to be effective. Plus, you don't actually need that much count; extra count doesn't do anything. You just need enough to keep the bleed active. Therefore, in my opinion, the best bleed team currently is Manager Don, Rodion, Greg, N Faust, Ring Sang, and Red Eye, notice that they all have lust defense, so you can trigger 6 abs res bascially anytime you want. Barber Outis can be swapped in if the battle is with enemies that also inflict bleed or in md; she is there to consume the Bloodfeast. However, she costs too much Bloodfeast to be worth it otherwise, and the enhanced S2 of Don doesn't improve much from the normal S2, and cost way too much hardblood to be worth it. Garden of Thorns is no joke also really good now, the problem with it is that it needs a lot of res, and all color of sin, but this squad have every sin needed for it and can do 6 ARES anytime.
It does matter though as it is intrinsically tied to Bleed procs on enemies. After turn 3-4, enough bleed will allow you to pretty much be able to use anything you want at full power and give gregor a good vacation. Not mandatory though but it’s something very good to aim for.
@shardtherox yeah, im specifically saying that keeping bleed count uptime (which is what people always complains about bleed) isn't really a necessity. Shes gonna ramp up fine even with 5 bleed potency teammates.
Yeah, you don’t need to permanently keep a bleed stack up; just stack as much bleed potency as you can, then let the enemy proc the entire stack. It’ll still give you a good amount of bloodfeast, and as the Bloodfiend IDs are all capable of healing themselves back up, and with Gregor being a tank with aggro and capable of withstanding death once, you would want to rely on letting your team take hits strategically for the sake of bleed potency stacking. Extra count is just a bonus. For regular battles, you can’t even reliably stack bleed, so you’ll want to rely instead on Gregor’s self-bleed and on letting Don nab kills and gain Bloodfeast for her team through her passive.
Iam running ring outis/yi sang, don, rodiya, gregor, and n faust and always have like over 30 potency and 5 to 7 count in every round start after early rounds while doing p enter (0 thought) and no ego usage Dont really think rhino is that needed or yearning ego when faust has nails (more debuff for ring gang that bus also bleed count), gaze (every one in the team benefits from it when all are pierce and gregor blunt which still procs it, it even coints as yet another debuff for ring gang) , sp from passive and fluid sack Still didn't use them in story stages but they are doing wonders in thread/xp luxavaction (yes, don having perma hardblood stacks for her full power s2 still is good or even better than enchanted s2 when you can send 2 s2 in a row with attack weight 3)
Barber is only viable in human fights In abno fights though, she is actively detrimental to them team because 1. Using her will basically make you no longer have a way to prevent Don from consuming her own Hardblood (other than through ego which may not always be available) 2. Alt S2 basically consumes all of your Bloodfeast for little payoff other than big damage. Compared to this, S1 alt only consumes 10 and refunds a bit, S3 alt helps kickstart bleed stacks, and Counter Alt maintains Bleed. 3. Barber’s defense skill is a regular counter which is the worst of them all (You will be frequently using defense skills to stop people from consuming bloodfeast) 4. You can just 2-slot someone else to proc Don’s Hardblood
She is definitely the least important member for the team, but still contributes to hardblood build up. Ring Outis / Hook Honglu make good budget replacements as mentioned in video but i wouldn't use N faust purely because of her clash numbers, but she does help support ring yisang. Also worth mentioning she has one of the best bench passives in the game. Overall use what you have because Doncho is going to preform well in any team that can slightly support her.
I'd advise against uptie 4 this early in the game. Most of the upgrades' conditions are something a new player with limited sinners won't be able to meet. Keep those 50 sinner shards and dispense more sinners in the dispenser.
