Join in as a pilot at twitch.tv/shindigs. I get questions on how the text-to-speech works I can answer here. Depending on your user ID on Twitch, you get assigned to Pilot 1, Pilot 2, or Pilot 3. Each Pilot will have the same voice, and the same character (as much as a hundred people talking through 1 avatar can be the "same"). It's been a great way to keep TTS as open as possible, while making it a little less chaotic. Also fun to see the lore for each pilot emerge. Sometimes the TTS will skip messages to keep up with the most recent messages. It used to read out everything, but got really backed up as more people came to the stream. Biasing toward "most recent message" at the cost at skipping is the most fair for now.
"The friends were the Bugs we kissed along the way" sounds like really funny last words given to kill off a Helldiver that is off his rocker. Just his squad looking at him and suddenly he's gone.
can i please get a tutorial on how you did this amazing feat of technology and skill. i'm fairly certain you're using a lot of the move source and multiple buttons to control alot of the scenes sliding in like the pilot cam scene, but i'm still not sure how you did the peepo tts stuff as well.
