You took the exact words out of my mouth. I couldn't have said it better. They did it 100% justice. I just discovered this cover today and I had my doubts at first, but they nailed it on the bullseye.
I’ve always said Bob Dylan was the original punk rocker. Sure he was a folk artist but his attitude was so damn punk it hurt. I think that’s why this song works so well. Green Day found that attitude and anger within this song and really brought it to the forefront. “How does it feel?!?”

@@elzar5987 i know what a cover is, but covers have to be different instrumentally to actually be good. Look at “Knockin on heavens door” by Guns n Roses. That songs LYRICS are identical to the original Bob Dylan song, but instrumentally sounds completely different. All this cover does is add shitty punk riffs to one of the greatest songs ever created.
@@PartyOnTheBed nobody's forcing you to listen to it... besides, this is Green Day's take on it, in their own style and i'm sure a lot of people will agree that, for Green Day, this is an awesome cover and if Bob Dylan was still alive, he would probably like it too

Peopled call, say, beware doll, youre bound to fall You thought they were all kiddin you You used to laugh about Everybody that was hangin' out Now you don't talk so loud Now you don't seem so proud About having to be scrounging for your next meal Oh, how does it feel?
