My favourite punk rock album, all my life in 90's is there, hooligans, student, professional, father my hole life! Thanks Green Day Im peruvian living in Canada since 2005 and I'll never forget you!
Same here. I was 10 and my younger cousin by 1 year had it. The front cover would always get me. Then when he played it, it was freaking amazing. Still is.
@@hmmmmmmmmm nah warning has some good songs too, but even if you consider that a drop off, they came back HARD with American Idiot AND 21st Century Breakdown
I wasn't around when this album came out, But god damn I wish I was. Imagine blasting this on the car radio after just buying the CD during the summer. Fuck me that would be so cool.
it really was cool af, the cover art was awesome, the secret song and my older house mate showing me this CD as I entered into middle school one of the first CDs I held in my hand, I was and still am a huge media collector this is one of those CDs! I hate every other GD cd its all trash pop punk sold out meh and this CD is really the drug fueled idiotic F u to everyone; mom, dad, god, school, and government. That punk rock feeling that really embellished at the time all our parents were worried about was drugs and getting divorced, this CD is a beacon to clarity at the time of everything I wanted from music was an out spoken way of saying I fucking hate you but Im a super logical thinking person with an obvious scar from the late 80s- 90s growing up living in southern California. this was my experience but i feel like this experience is transcendent for a lot of people in these comments.

I don't care what anyone says, this album is responsible for the rise of Punk Rocks popularity during that time. Elitist punks can't handle that shit, and its fucking Hilarious.
Very important for alternative music finally reaching the mainstream along with offspring. Soon as all the music labels knew DIY was a finger to all cooperates labels but who's gonna turn down all that money? Anyone in their right mind would take the money
