Hey Jessica, I would love a video that shows expensive lenses on a cheap body vs cheap lenses on an expensive body! I think most of us haven't had the opportunity to test it ourselves and I'm beyond curious.😊
in the same vein, I'd love to see photos taken with the same lens on a cheap vs. expensive camera. People talk about it, but a visualization would be nice! Thank you.
Hi Jessica :-) i kno its a old video but the 24-105mm f4 L version ll is a beast in studio for portraits etc i never shoot under 5.6 and mostly at F9 -F11 and if u keep the model 1-2 meters away from the background its blured out a bit so deffently a great lens for indoor studio
I shoot my self portraits with a Canon macro 35mm 2.8 . I got it from some rewards points program... I think it retails about $400. Anyways I love it and recommend it because its so versatile from detail macro shots to portraits 💞😁
The sigma 35mm 1.4 art is a truly amazing lens for the price point. The only down side is the size of it and the auto focus is not usable in video. I sold it just because it was too chunky. Thanks for the advise on the 28 I might try it.
Im waiting on the new lens announcement this week i want that rf 50 1.8 and 70-200 f4 if they are a good price. If not then im gonna get these lenses lol.
50mm stm 125$ has better improved glass so it is sharper and it newer lens so means your old fashioned 50mm f1.4 is not so sharp even if it is f1.4 u want to save money get samyang 85mm better that old canon 85mm.. did u shoot crop sensor or full frame every lens looks different to crop and full frame ...in crop dlsr it better have conon 24mm f2.8 and 35mm f2 canon or sigma 35mm f1.4 and have canon 50mm.f1.8 stm u don't need 85mm because in crop sensor 85mm it is already looks so zoom in. It is like having a 105mm so instead getting 24-105mm for crop sensor it better get 15 85mm
They’ve not Yongnou 50 f1.8 budget range, but for dedicated Canon glass, since they are older lenses, they are absolutely on the budget side, especially used.

Oh this is a good idea! What body would you want me to use? Like a rebel?
@@JessicaWhitaker I definitely think a rebel would be a good direction for the cheap camera!👌

I have all of them. Good choices
Love you Jessica 💕 ❤ 😍 thank you for your videos ❤
what canon lens you recommend in photographing group subjects?
If you see a red stripe on a canon lens, that means its not a budget lens
Sample shots not loading?
Thank you for this very helpful video 😁 I really enjoyed al the useful lens advice.
Isn't the 1.8 a lot cheaper?
The perfect video I’m needing new lenses THIS IS A SIGN 🥰
Ah I'm so happy this video helps!
So the second lense would be good for portrait, maternity
Thank you I appreciate this video so much
Great!! Thanks Jessica
What would you say is better, the 28mm f/1.8 USM or the 50mm f/1.8 STM?
Just to be sure, are you shooting with a full frame? Trying to figure out how the crop factor will change my images on my SL1.
Yes! Full frame. :)
I have the rebel t8i and wondering what would be a great lenses for beach photos and traveling to capture scenes
50mm 1.8, 18mm to 55mm and 55mm to 250mm. Those 3 cover most things for me. I could use the 50mm all day at the beach n be happy
Pretty hair. Good lighting 👍🏼
Beauty with brains 💞
agreed... i have all those three too
Great review
damn its simple nd to the point video I'm subscribed
Which camera and lens are you using for this video?
10:09 canon 6d is suatable 24-105 f4??
the 1.8 50 mm Is better than the 1.4?
Yes. And cheaper. 1.4 autofocus is slow and in low light forget about it.

Oh nice!
Hellooo! I have the Canon M50, are they fit?
You can use the canon adapter to use them on the M50
