It would be very helpful if you provided information on grants that do not require subscription to a grant support service. If we need help, we certainly don’t have the money to subscribe to a service that may or may not result in a positive outcome.
You can get dentures in Florida. They do not want to give pain meds at all. Instead they give psych meds which I find very disturbing. Love Florida but they're not taking care of pain patients and those with anxiety. The meds I've been on for 30 years they want to take away. Who do they think they are to judge people in this way? I just don't get it. You want to shut down clinics fine but don't torture pain patients or those who are already on a medication and it's working for them. Only the rich get what they want in Florida.
I live in Florida and have gotten a good monthly benefit on SNAP. I also get Medicaid to cover health care. And I qualify for discounted travel on our county-wide transportation. So not all parts of Florida are failing to help the citizens.

I need help with obtaining a college degree. I am 65 years old and I'm trying to finish my degree. There are no programs to help seniors to complete their degrees. I applied for financial aid from FASLA and they did not give enough to pay for one class? I wanted to get my degree at Arizona State University but they will only give me a college loan. I advised ASU that I'm too old to go into college debt. My belief is the law states if you have a college loan as a senior the law states they can take up to 15% out of your SS. I'm on SS and that is not acceptable. Any thoughts or comments?

I am 73, widowed, no children to help me, and on Social Security. Medicare is my only insurance. I am below the poverty line enough to qualify for Snap, but I receive "too much" S.S. to qualify for Medicaid. Medicare will not cover my needs below: Dentures, Glasses (Tri-focals), Hearing Aid, Auto Repairs (on 23 yr-old car) to get to Heart, Lung, Spine & Orthopedic doctors. Some treatments and surgeries require traveling 100 miles round trip. Thanks for all the hard work y'all do! Can you help me, please?
