1. If something is imp. there is a serious and significant consequence and a negative detriment to your life if its not completed and often its irreversible.
2. Re-prioritize things once a day or once in two days.
3. Its better to over-delete than to over-commit because if a deleted task was actually imp. it'll find its way back to your list.

It took me years (like 20) to realize I can't just make a system and "automate" my life. Reviewing projects and tasks and re-prioritizing regularly is required and essential.

Notes:
Important means that there will be serious, significant consequences if the task were not done.
Urgent means that there is no room for delay.
Think of prioritization as putting a finger on the pulse: what frequency does the task refresh on? If the frequency is 1/day, then it would be a waste of time to check on it 6 times/day, and we would be missing out on it if we check it once a week. For Justin, the frequency is mostly once every 1-2 days. For me, it would be once every 2-3 days.
Four categories:
Important and urgent tasks would be the focus.
Not important and not urgent tasks belong in the bin, you never do them.
Urgent but not important tasks generally need to be done. It's best to do them in chunks since they are usually small.
Important but not urgent tasks need to be prioritized over urgent but not important tasks.

Like during ur busy day, your normal weekday, how you make decisions doing which task -chores, important task, important urgency task. What task app do you use and how do you schedule the whole week?. (maybe a vlog day with your morning routine). It would really help to actually see it .
I was looking for info on the Eisenhower matrix and this is the first vid I watched from this channel...
I was surprised at 27:20 because 2 hours to make dinner and wash up sounds reasonable to me and sometimes 2.5 hours does happen. Unless you have someone to cook for you or buy food, it takes around 30 mins to an hour to prepare the ingredients and cook (or maybe less if you prep your food before but it will still take time from another day...) Then for eating it takes me another 30 min - 1 hour depending on what it is and with no distractions (I know I'm a slow eater) and if you or others at your household don't have the habit of keeping an empty sink, the dishes will take more than the usual 5-15 mins it should take to clean after a meal...
Of course there might be some people that do other stuff in between and can optimize this time but this does not apply to everyone... maybe I'm not the right audience for this... I'm thinking this channel might be targeted for students and doesn't consider busy head of household
Initially I couldn't get most of what he was trying to say, stopped watching his videos, then it hit me, now I'm back again.
This helped. I now realize that urgent/important and not urgent/important should be done first thing in my workday. Everything else is time management after that.
I've had a hard time deleting unimportant non urgent things. Many days i focus on these unimportant things all day long and get exhausted only to find my boss unimpressed with what I've accomplished because he only cares about a small subset of my job duties, which can be considered nonurgent and important

Well with every secular video I watch😂😂, I share the truth about humanity and how sinful each of us are before God. You know fam, this is not good at all, because God is a Just Judge who will not sweep our sins under the rug. Your sins seperate you from The one true God.
Yet out of His love He sent His One and Only Son to died in your place. And on the cross Jesus cried out, "Father, Father why have you forsaken me!!" Meaning that Jesus took responsibility for your sins, therefore God Himy seperated from Him(Jesus). Jesus stood in your place in Hell. If you were held captive cause you owe someone money that you will never have, can that person not let you go if I were to pay your debt in full? Jesus paid your debt in full, and on the cross He also cried out:" It is finished." You owe God your life, but Jesus gave God His own life so that you don't have to. This is because:
Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord."
Why would God punish His own Son for your sake, and why would The Son volunteer to be punished in your place?

It when you turn away from all the wrong things that you do like stealing, lying, committing adultery, lusting, homsexual behaviour, coveting, anger, not honouring your parents etc. And turn to Jesus, meaning that you will have to get on your knees and beg for the forgiveness of your sins. Thanks for your content. I think that your example of spending time with your family contradicts what you're trying to say, though. You go from discussing what is important to what is important in the moment (which seems more like urgency). You define a task as important if not doing it will cause a serious detriment to your life. I'd put your example of spending time with family up there with learning Mandarin, because if you put off your friends and family long enough, then there will be a serious detriment to your life; and when you try to repair the relationships with people who think you're a flake, or the estranged relationship you've developed with your child, or to fix the relationship that's heading for a break up or divorce because you're never around, then it will be too late. Just my two cents.

Ironic how he abides by Blooms Taxanomy which states that repetition is the lowest form of learning but that it exactly what he uses to teach. Video doesnt need to have the same point repeated again and again with different phrasing each time, just needs the point, a relation and a application and science to back it up.
