Thankyou for showing machine doubling versus double died! But I do have a question you said that the double strike or scrape scrape the edge of the digit and flattened it but when it's being struck wasn't there no digits that's what I'm confused about now ordered a double strike them? I guess I'm confused on how you can scrape the edge of a digit that's not struck yet? Or is it actually done with the initial strike somehow and wouldn't that still be on the die though? Doubled strikes are not machine doubling and machine doubling happens during the strike not before or after, it is the edge of the die cavity that scrapes the metal away and flattens it.

What if you have one not in a package is it valuable with the floating building and the r f stamp in good condition out of a change bag?
Package has nothing to do with value on a doubled die, it's the doubled die that is worth money because it is rare.

My final question would be are double strikes also considered machine doubling I believe you said they were but I just wanted to verify thanks again for the info
Doubled strikes are not machine doubling and machine doubling happens during the strike not before or after, it is the edge of the die cavity that scrapes the metal away and flattens it.
you can send your cards and coins to a grading company and they might give you a different grade every single time.

Hello. Thank you for the videos. I have a collection of coins myself and wanted to see if I can send pictures of some of my coins to see if you can help me in finding out the value of them? I have spoken to a couple of coin collectors and they have not shown interest in helping out.
The best way to find coin values is to do an ebay sold auction search.
