I think it was a mistake of staff who adds a description under clip because in the credits in videos didn’t mentions Oliver was credited as a Cheerleader anymore LOL
This is Rammstein at their absolute best. They’re warning us about the dangers of fear of the other. Fear leads people to act irrationally. And the worst people will use this fear to their own benefit. I believe Till Lindemann is channeling Trump (the blonde hair) but it’s also aimed at Germany & Europe. While some bands turn into Conservatives as they age, Rammstein has always been unapologetically Left Wing. Their songs can be very disturbing but they’re extremely progressive.
It didn't click that Till is mimicking Trump in the video, but I can see it. Looking into the translation, the song seems like a commentary on a lot of things from the last few years, however you want to interpret the Schwarzen Mann he's referring to.
The song is about how Liberals abuse the news and electronic media block truth and spout lies causing fear and panic in society and taking away free thought. The band are dressed as men during the 1950s where the fear of Communism was at it's highest. They fortify themselves because they think their neighbors are the enemy. It not until they destroy the TV that they break free of being mind controlled.

Slowly the media has turn everyone against each other. Everyone has a surveillance camera and is ready to tear each other apart. And the video does portraits that as well, among other topics.

Angst, Zeit and Zick Zack are my favorite songs off the new album. Ive always loved Rammstein since Du Hast, but i love industrial metal. ❤️❤️ angst is what i feel anymore, especially towards our corrupt politicians.

Was hoping he'd react to the lyrics more. This song has some serious warnings about the far right that seem to get missed completely in all the reaction videos I've seen.

Very much a political song. Politicians sowing fear against immigrants who are escaping war and famine… ironically, escaping wars often created by the West. I love Rammstein even more knowing they are on the good side of this dilemma.

They start out in the 50s with the white picket fences. That leads to building walls to keep people out. That turns to barb wire fencing and then our love of assault rifles The ending is really gripping. White people watching black people on tv and vice versa And the very end. It’s in black and white and changes to color and the changes to high definition. This is a representation of the time periods going from the 50s to 70s to

It's about Xenophobia and the "refugee crisis" in germany in 2015, when a lot of refugess came from africa. Till sings:"Who fears the black man?" The black man is kind of a mythological creature children are scared off. Like a shadow man, and a personification of peoples fears. On the other hand he literally means black people coming as refugees to our country. You see black people behind barbed wire at the beginning and the end of the video. But only a woman and a child, not really the kind of threat like some Nazis and rightwingers want to make us believe.But that is exactly what happened in germany since 2015. Nazis and rightwing groups came to power, went in the streets, saying that we have to fear foreigners, because there is a global plan to exchange the german blooded population. Since then people were brainwashed by conspiracy theories that led to fear and xenophobia and hatespeech on the internet. That's what the video shows. Till is portrayed as the mad man in a straightjacket, brainwashing people over the internet, setting fear and Xenophobia in their minds, like a german Alex Jones or QAnon people. The band itself is portrayed as the "old white men", mowing their lawn and having barbecues, with dumb grinning faces. And they are paying money for building walls around their properties and bying weapons to defend themselves against fictional enemies. Literally a black man, a shadowy threat that doesn't exist. In the end it's Rammsteins take on the message:"Let's love each other, hate destroys your soul, we're all the same." This video is kind of a continuation of "Deutschland", it shows what's going on in the present day here.
Guess "Der Schwarze Mann" can also be seen as Putler and other autocrats threatening democracy and waging war
