AMAZING VIDEO!!!! You answered questions that I didn’t even know that I had!!! Could you maybe do an in-depth video on choosing classes? My school doesn’t have as many advanced classes for underclass men and I’m trying to push myself. Obviously, they aren’t taking me seriously even though I’ve completed the prerequisites. 😅I loved your video!!🥰
I live your content it’s very educational and entertaining. I am in 8th grade and I do love college related videos. I would live it if you did a freshman advice video. Have a good day😁
I'm a junior right now and I'm actually not really involved in any extracurriculars besides band (and, like, National Honors Society) because that's where I spend most of my time when I'm not doing homework for all of my AP classes. Do you think this will still look good on my college applications? I will have been in band for seven years, varsity for all four years of high school, and highly involved in all-region, area, and state. I've only been a Drill Instructor for the past two years, and plan on applying for drum major next year. I don't know, I guess I'm just worried that this will affect me because its the only thing I'm involved in. Would you recommend trying to do other things as well or would it be too late to put on my application?
Personally (no expert of course), I would recommend trying to excel to the best of your ability in what you’re already doing. Try to pursue competitions to gain national recognition for your accomplishments to strengthen your application in your personal interests. If you feel comfortable, take on a couple more APs to prepare for college life and balance a rigorous schedule while maintaining your extracurricular commitments. Show leadership in what you’re already doing and just have fun, these years are the times to treasure and make lasting friends! This is just some friendly advice. Do what you feel is best for you! Good luck!
You don’t have an accent to me😂😂 probably cause I have an accent. You also are the cutest human ever. I am a freshman and high school and your videos are sooooo helpful!!!
Okay so my school does not have any clubs or a school paper or any sports or dance or music but I want extra curriculars for college . Can you please tell me what I can do to get some extra curriculars?
Your vid was so funnyyy😭 and it was also very informative! thank you!💞 I'm currently a sophomore and am thinking about starting an organization, but im lowkey scared lol. Any advice?
Tulla Bee Okay Thanks I just wanted some feedback....👋🏽 👋🏽 I just seen your acceptance video..( 🥳 congrats) I was wondering if you could help me with some things...!I am going into my junior year and I am excited about college. I am interested in Stanford and mit for the computer programming major. So far I have taken three ap class (two of them were computer science) I am also going to complete some colleges courses this year at my local community college and my unweighted gpa is 3.8 and my weighted gpa is a 4.5 (but this year I plant to get a 4.0 unweighted) and I have only done a few activity’s... I was in coding club, jv volleyball, coding camp and a one day coding college class at my states university where they taught us the different programming languages and cryptography. My school also gives the opportunity for me to do a internship during my senior year.. ( sorry if I’m rambling on... I’m almost done I promise 😂) I was wondering if you could give me any tips on what else I should do to set myself apart from the other candidates applying for Stanford too!!! Thank you for reading my longggg paragraph 😂 oh and one more thing 😂 I don’t know where I should start with my college essay (Topic wise) ... That’s all thanks👋🏽😂
@@QueEn-yd4uo I would definitely take advantage of the opportunity to do an internship! not many students applying have those so that would help you stand out. you definitely have a "spike" in coding/computer science which is great and is a good starting point for an essay. if you choose to write your essay on this make sure you find a unique and different perspective since most Stanford and MIT students are very STEM focused. a strong, unique, and personal essay is the best way to stand out from other applicants. if you need help figuring out what to write about, I would recommend the book "50 successful Harvard application essays." choosing an essay topic is super important and super personal, but I found that this book gave me inspiration when looking for my own unique life experience that I chose to write about. hope this helps :))
Please make a sophomore advice video!
