i like the Newage figures much better that the MS ones. but i'm still getting both. just keep putting off getting the MS ones. my Gorgo is on its way from China
I think I’m with you… I like the NewAge a little more cause of the quality and easy transformation design… but Magic Square does clean up better… (with too many panels - not fun)…
Awesome review, can’t wait until they come out with the repaint for the shatter glass version to get my hands on one of them. Great reView thanks as always! 15:45
This is by far better show accurate in robot and dino mode , better articulation in both modes than magic square. Mind you I love magic square but the dinobots are no match .and i noticed that many reviewers like to nitpick small things like showing some screws. Or like the new age devastator because it has a big central piece to unite every single robot. They gave the best devastator and best single individuals almost perfect. Sacrifice and compromise has to be made at some point and newage has learned very well how to do both. And to be honest those characters never made much sense how they transformed in the show, but still, here we are. Compared to newage the Hasbro are no near the 86 movie and look like cheap knockoffs. Thanks for your reviews. Very detailed
Thanks… I agree with you that people nitpick about the pins and parting lines… For me, I am not bother by it too much because I see how it’s needed to be that way for their great engineering for transformation (less panels than Magic Square)… I’m just look to point out things that people will notice when they get it… and it’s up to them how they feel about it… Again. I’m ok with it… just can’t mix together NA with MS…
I agree 100% with you. And thank you for your transformation reviews. It helped me with ms toys swindle, which drove me nuts. But still love their combaticons. Keep up the good work
I wouldn’t say NA is more cartoon accurate than MS especially with Slag BUT - I do agree that NA is better overall. Cause the quality is stellar and it is very cartoon accurate I honestly hope NA will consider a Grimlock 2.0 to fit in better with Sludge and Slag
@@iamerikrI know what you mean because ms toys are plain as the cartoon which I like very much. But if you look carefully at the Dino Mode it has the identical siluette as seen in the marvel bios pics. Not the color. That belongs to the comic. But if you have the sunbow scale which newage is for sure following grimlock is the same size to the other dinosaurs and almost looks a smige shorter. I agree with all about the leg panels for the reason that impedes the transformation in Dino mode.
Great review very insightful. I agree about the white portion of the mouth being white not yellow. Is the yellow or white applied paint? Wondering if the white is painted over yellow plastic if you could strip the white off? thanks again
Great review. I've got to say, even in bot mode he's WAY too big. Looking at your comparison, he's even bigger than Sludge by quite a bit. I'm not a huge scale nut and can overlook slight discrepancies but damn. They should have shortened the dino snout and shrunk the entire figure by about 15% before going into production.

Thanks… Shatter Glass is not for me, but I hope you get it when it comes out…
“Me Slag say you full of beryllium baloney!”
Lol… I was looking at that one… cause it’s a line people remember…

@iamerikr MS is more toon accurate… but NA is close enough… but I agree with you about their parts-forming Grimlock…

The flame effect coming with Snarl looks awesome but I feel like we should get more than 1.
Thanks for the heads up… ow I can’t wait to get Snarl…
Nice bro
Wow, yours came fast! Mine is still in transit 😊
Yeah, it did arrive kind of early… I think maybe because I preordered it much early…
@@streakshooter918same! I ordered mine in August 2023 and I just got it yesterday!

Thanks… the lower mouth is white plastic and only painted on the front for whatever reason…
@@streakshooter918 :(
It’s ok…

Thanks… I agree with you that they could have scale it down a little… but I can work around it by having him in a similar-squat pose…
