    The crash Berger had coming out of the pit lane was actually a result of the Active Suspension being programmed for the wrong part of the track, causing his Ferrari to bottom out and remove traction from the tyres, not his fault.

      @@JFein From what I saw, Trulli was pushed wide halfway onto the grass but kept his foot planted, lost control and took out Sutil. Jarno's fault and his attempt to blame Sutil for the collision is pathetic.

      I don't know what you see, but for what I see it's Trulli trying to overtake Sutil, Sutil just sent Trulli on the grass and the result was the crash. Not so sure it was Trulli's fault.

    0:51 Let's not forget Spa 2004: Button having a puncture hitting P9 Baumgartner who was a lap down. If they did not meet this way, that could've been another point for team Minardi!

    Nobody forgot Trulli and Sutil, because of the side of the track argument they had, and the press conference afterwards in Abu Dhabi was legendary - Trulli bringing photographic evidence, even though he was more or less at fault. One huge crash that always seems to be forgotten is Trulli rolling it out of Bridge at Silverstone, 2004.

      Yes, there were 4 practice sessions and 2 qualifyings, those two quali times were added together and the lowest time got pole.

      In Portimão, I hope -. Estoril is hopelessly outdated for F1. It's a brilliant circuit. Rather similar to COTA, a modern interpretation of a sweeping, variable altitude track.

    allan mcnish in suzuka 2002 horror crash in qualifing when he lose the car at the end of the corner and slamed in the barrier, the crash was that heavely, that the car slams true the barears.

      Sadly, it took the death of Roland Ratzenberger in 1994 before the HANS device was introduced.

      @@colehartel7206 Not even close. It was the death of Dale Earnhardt in NASCAR in 2001 that saw it introduced there; then gradually across other forms of racing, before F1 in 2003. Ratzenberger's crash, sadly, accomplished nothing.
      The other thing that did happen though, as a result of Karl Wendlinger's 1994 Monaco crash was the foam cockpit surround padding, which was introduced for 1995, then increased in size for 1996 onward.

      There was a rumour schumacher told the FIA the gravel trap was too high in that corner. They rejected his claim so he staged the accident to prove a point

    Since we dont have Berger on the grid anymore, i think it's safe to bring F1 back to Portugal. Every major brand since the testing of the P1 GTR has been using Circuito do Estoril and obviously Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, which are both loved by almost every driver that has a chance of going for a few laps in either

    For the past years when I watched F1 I always had memories of a certain crash but I couldn't remember any details. Now that I've seen this Video I'm 100% Sure its #7.

      Yes, there were 4 practice sessions and 2 qualifyings, those two quali times were added together and the lowest time got pole
