As a Marine looking at Army personnel complain about their barrettes I'm tossing them the side eye and asking would they like to try ironing our eight point patrol cover lol. And Fyi Army for the cost of a twenty pack of disposable razors you can buy a cheap set of hair clippers that will shave the fuzzies off nicely without putting a hole in your cover. these little gems are great for all around uniform maintenance cause lets be honest The US doesn't exactly buy decent material made uni's.
The navy's coveralls would like a word with you on that point, absolutely fire garment, super comfortable, six pockets, best damn uniform the navy gave me. ...Though I will say, while I think dress uniforms are stupid, the marines got that D R I P going HARD with theirs.
@@brennanhearn6342 Well that's cause you Navy fellas for the most part aren't putting your ComUni's through the ringer the way grunts on the ground are, no shade brother just a simple fact. there is a lot of stuff on a Navy vessel that your Uni's are built to withstand that is on board the various vessels and the various duty stations those Sailors occupy. I once tore a huge hole in the shin of my MARPART Uni from it getting scrapped on a knee knocker on the Carl Vinson. As for our dress uniforms do have that drip it's an absolute bitch to prep for use you have to go over it with a fine tooth comb or get your ear rung like an all hands alarm blasting in your face lol.
Zach served from 2004 to 2009 so yeah he was in when the black beret was switched.
Makes sense because 2009 is when I started.
