- Greetings! This video is a presentation of Al Maha Lounge at Doha Hamad International Airport. This is a Priority Pass lounge accessible to guests with some other airport lounge membership cards. During peak hours, the lounge can get very busy, although food offerings inside are not bad. Please join me in a brief walking tour of this lounge.

Thank you for taking the time to create this informative video. it answered many of my questions.
Thank you
Thanks, very much for the video. We'll be here in November and you answered a lot of our questions through the video.
Thanks, great video! My dad is nervious about transiting on Doha and I will send this video to him. So he knows what to expect and familiarises himself in advance. Thanks!
Doha is a wonderful airport with great staff and amenities. Many U.S. airports could learn a lot from it.
Excellent video. Very informative, thanks.
I prefer the area on the right side. It is less crowded, I take showers there and it's just quieter. Lounge access was $63 last time I checked.
What food was available?
Does that include use of the showers?
What area?
We have been there. Top quality.
Thank you this helps me to get an idea
Thank you, your Vlog was very helpful
Thanks for your support
Love❤ the vlog, great videos, absolutely subscribing. I can't wait to see more vlogs from you soon.
Thanks for subbing!
Wow i had no idea there were 2 sides
Good Jooob - Thank U!!!!
The worst part is that I cannot used my saved up avios to pay for lounge access. I am a burgundy tier and very close to getting silver. Last time I flew in economy, but I had a lot of avios saved up. I asked an employee in the counter and he said I cannot use my avios for lounge access, but I can pay by cash and it's only $55 per 6 hours. It's still not that expensive but I'd have wanted to use avios instead.
Sorry to hear that.
Thank you for the video it is very informative. I am going to be in Doha Airport for 12 hours. I already booked and paid for this lounge.
But I think it is good for me to upgrade. Which lounge do you recommend?
I don't have status in the airline yet. I would need to pay for it. One with beds would be great.
Thank you
This lounge would be good for you if you can't access the Qatar lounge or any other airline's lounge.
Thanks for sharing, just curious, is that all the food & drinks offerings at this lounge? I wonder if its a longer transit, the offerings are pretty miserable.
That was all the available food during my visit
@@mytravelvlog-jc thanks for the prompt reply! Cheers!
"Best airport in the world" XD
so there is no sleep room or at least available convenient chairs to uplift your feet?
Not that I have seen in this lounge...
Am flying Qatar next week. Aside from the 7KG hand luggage or wheeled luggae that passengers take with them inflight, is additional small backpack with extra clothes, and toiletries and stuff allowed? I was told by qatar customer rep that its not..but i can see a lot of passengers has a backpack and a small wheeled luggage in your video…do you have any info it? This video tells otherwise.
This is not a Qatar Airways lounge. Your question is relevant to the class of cabin you will fly in. If it's business or first, then it shouldn't be a problem. If you fly in economy, I guess it depends on the gate agent whether they would allow additional carry-on bags.
You can stay at any of the lounges? I paid for the Transit Lounge, is that it ?
This is one of the transit lounges
I heard we can only be there for 4 hours or something per visit, I am wondering if is it strictly enforced and how do they enforce the time limit?
There was actually no enforcement when I visited this lounge even though it was very crowded as you can see.
@@mytravelvlog-jc i see, nice. I imagined it would be awkward to call out by name that time is up or something 😄
6 hours.
Don't they offer some beers? what a lounge it is?
They do have beer as far as I remember.
One question: are there towels provided in the shower section ?
I didn't visit the shower facility but I believe they would offer towels.
Hi, is it accessible to wheelchair user?
Yes, there are elevators
This is a great Review!! 😊 I have a 14 hr lay-over at Hamad Intl Airport and do you mind telling how much was the cost you paid and is there a number of hours you could only spend there?
I have used Priority Pass to get in so I didn't pay for anything. If you want to pay to get in, I think it's around USD 65 per visit. Not sure how long you are allowed in though but even if there is a time limit, I have found it hard for them to enforce.
63 $hours for 6 Hours
I have Qatar economic class transit in Doha , how much should I pay to enter this Lounge ?
Around USD 65
if you already checked in your bags from your previous flight, are you required to recheck bags or can you go directly to your next gate without any security checks/baggage reclaim?
Ground staff at the departing airport would be able to answer this question. If both flights are with the same airline, then yes. If not, sometimes yes sometimes no.
@@mytravelvlog-jc ya both flights are with qatar, so, the “yes” would mean i can just go to my next flight without having to reclaim baggage or do any other security checks? also, thank you!
For Most airlines nowadays u collect your baggage at final destination regardless of how many transits u have. But u can just make sure about this info at your departure airport
Are you able to leave and go back anytime during your transit? I have 10hrs evening transit.
I didn't do that when I was there. I am not sure how front desk staff would respond to that.
Is the food free
Yes
How much for the lounge?
Around USD 50-60 per person
Do we have to pay to enter?
If you have Priority Pass, no. If not, ~USD 63.
How much it cost?
Were i should get the priority pass of the airline?
I bought this and it is disappointing to see ... i purchased this
Me too. If there is no place to sleep, I'll just use one of the airports Quiet Rooms to take a nap.
Really?i am going to buy this service, about 30$,because i need wait 18h in Doha,if there is no comfortable chaires, it is better sleep outside
Can u explain to me the access procedure . Can any flight holder access this lounge r only qatar airways
This is a Priority Pass lounge, regardless of which airlines you fly with.
