Sometimes you just need to get away from all noise and distractions. I do my best worship when it is just me and God talking out my issues. God will meet you where you are.
A church isn't a building a Church is inside of each and every one of us. The Church building is where believers get together to share and learn from each other. Love the way the Amish around here do their Church in each others homes. They only have a get together Church every otherweek the other Sunday is for visiting and family time with the Father holding a little prayer and Bible reading on those Sundays but on church Sundays each family brings what we would call a covered dish and have a shared meal.
The lord is LITERALLY EVERYWHERE and doesn't care where you choose to praise him. I've always said that my favorite church was sitting out in the middle of the wilderness, just admiring His work.
AMEN! My favorite place to worship is out in God's MAGNIFICENT creations! Like: being on the edge of the Grand Canyon, looking down from the overlook on the Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone, viewing Balanced Rock or Delicate Arch in Arches National Park, etc.

I never thought that I would love an a cappella group( kind of a snob regarding my musical preferences). I kept seeing their RUclips videos and finally broke down and watched. First one was “How Great Thou Art”, second was “Man of Constant Sorrow”. That was 3 or 4 years ago, and I’ve been hooked. They call themselves a vocal BAND, and that’s why I love them; that’s how they construct their songs. They have an ability to strike chords that give you chills. I find that I feel better when I listen to them. I swear they are heaven sent.

One of the greatest things about Home Free and their videos is, no matter the subject, they never denigrate anyone. They only uplift folks. In the Butts Remix, they took one of the most sexist subjects, men looking at women's bodies like objects, took out the sexism, and made it for everyone, even substituting shots of their own butts for the women's. It was so subtle, like that's just how the world should be. They don't preach. They just perform. I love these men.

Dear Pastor this isn't about this song/group but I put in a search for you and this popped up. I heard you react to Pentatonix and their cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah". I've been telling people it's not a Christian or Christmas song despite the word Hallelujah. If you read the lyrics and know that the man who wrote it was Jewish then you see the references of the old testament. In the old testament there are plenty of references and innuendo regarding relations between two adults (kept it clean in case kids read). I do like the song for this reason; in the lyrics it refers to a broken hallelujah. I believe that is more pleasing to our Lord than someone who's life is going great and simply says hallelujah. When a broken soul still looks to God with praise it's my personal opinion God hears that with great love. I'm not a preacher or biblical scholar, just a plain old Catholic who's had some tough times but doesn't blame my Lord. Stay safe and well. God bless.

Dear Pastor this isn't about this song/group but I put in a search for you and this popped up. I heard you react to Pentatonix and their cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah". I've been telling people it's not a Christian or Christmas song despite the word Hallelujah. If you read the lyrics and know that the man who wrote it was Jewish then you see the references of the old testament. In the old testament there are plenty of references and innuendo regarding relations between two adults (kept it clean in case kids read). I do like the song for this reason; in the lyrics it refers to a broken hallelujah. I believe that is more pleasing to our Lord than someone who's life is going great and simply says hallelujah. When a broken soul still looks to God with praise it's my personal opinion God hears that with great love. I'm not a preacher or biblical scholar, just a plain old Catholic who's had some tough times but doesn't blame my Lord. Stay safe and well. God bless.

I've enjoyed watching you become a Home Fry. Adam Chance sings the bass while Tim sings the lead and visa versa. This was Chance's first video with Home Free. He replaced Chris Rupp, who you would see on earlier videos. You might be interested in the Church Sessions of Go Rest High Upon That Mountain.
