Tim gets all the credit for being the amazing bass for Home Free, and he is. However, Chance doesn't get anywhere near enough credit for being the guy who holds down the bass in a good number of Home Free songs. He may not hit the lowest notes, he may not be as "in your face" a bass as Tim, but he's doing yeoman's work. So, shout-out to the everyman, working away in the background! Fun reaction, as always, Sauce! Catch you on the next one!
I think the reason it takes people a while to hear how special Chance's voice is, is because it takes a bit of time to learn all of the content. But, WOW! Since he's settled in and he and Tim started trading off parts more, he's caught fire! The versatility of these guys lets them all shine their brightest at any given time! Thank you again for a great reaction!
I was a Chance fan before he was in Home Free. This local boy was featured on our local news here in LA (lower Alabama) when he was with Street Corner Symphony and competed on the SingOff. You will have to see Chance with his friends The Hound and The Fox. They form a trio, usually with acoustic guitars. He works with them similarly to how Tim Foust and Peter Hollens work together.
Tim said that the Street Corner Symphony had asked him to join them for The Sing Off, he said no and thankfully he did because Chance may have never joined HF. Tim explains it so much better lol
My favorite reactor with my favorite artists!! The BEST way to start this Saturday morning!! A couple hundred of those millions of views are mine!!😁 Great reaction as usual!
No one beats a Saucey Dad. Love how you make reactions so much funnier 🤣 by adding your flavor 😋😜to the videos. You must check out Down to Honky-tonk and Meet in the Middle. You would also like Moonshine
One of the things I like the most about Tim's deep base is that he doesn't push it at the expense of the music. I do feel sometimes that the deep base singers throw low notes in where it doesn't quite feel right in the music, which throws me off. Tim rarely does that. Nothing too flashy. Just 'there' to support the song. Beautifully done.
Austin's gospel days really shine in this. And Chance's voice voice has gotten deeper and richer since he and Tim started trading off. These men are so fucking awesome.
Home Free makes everything a pleasure to listen to. How beautifully the voices come together here and how good it sounds like a real gospel song. And of course the inhuman beatboxing! I can only say one thing: AMEN!
One of my favorite "ear worms" 😆 Once I hear Adam's percussion on this one it replays in my head for the rest of the day ❤️🎼🥰🎶❤️ (And I love HF's attention to details--they consistently put forth the effort with creative touches like the old tv look/old radio sound that IMHO put their music and videos on a level above all others. 🥇)
So glad you finally got to this one! It's one of the first songs I heard from them, and is still on my short list of favorites. And I love how Austin goes full gospel!
Chance's voice is what I call whiskey smooth. That is actually Chance doing the bass line in most of this song. Most want to call him a baritone since he took over Chris's place in the band but he is actually a true bass. He was with a group called Street Corner Symphony that performed on the 2nd season of the Sing Off and came in 2nd.
As always, I love your reactions! I adore this song! Makes me wanna grab my dog, go hop in the truck for a road trip while singing along to Homefree! Have a great day!
Marin Morris put this one out as a single in 2016. It was a hit for her and it's even better with them. The way they keep shifting who is singing is a perfect combination of showing off their talent and really making us want more. Wow they never fail.
They have a From the Vault of this video. The car belongs to their old merchandise manager Nate (Potato). Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.
At the live concerts I've attended, they us the part where they sing, "Can I get a halleluiah, can I get and amen?" as an audience participation. It was really fun.
Love Chance ... he and his voice are so laid back but so smooth ... can't imagine him ever having blood pressure issues ! Love his facial expressions ... eyebrow raises and winks ... the silent lady killers !
If you check this out live, you'll see that Chance has to pick up that bass line, and it's just as great to listen to. Home Free. They're really not too shabby at all...!!
Chance has a nice voice, I think many people overlook it because contrary to Austins, Robs and Tims voice, there is nothing flashy about it, he has a very conversational sound
I figured this would be like a drive around anthem for you.🤣 Their cover of " Snapback and One man band" ‼️ both are WOW‼️‼️ I love your channel and reactions ❤ 💕 ♥
This is great Live. They've been singing it in their Dive Bar Saints tour and they get the audience to sing with them. They also do Ring Of Fire and it's nothing like you've heard before. Ok enough spoilers. Great reaction
Love all your reactions, SauceyDad. Just realized you haven't yet watched Home Free's cover of AMERICAN PIE, with Don McLean himself!! It is simply outstanding. Please put AMERICAN PIE on your list - if it's not already there. Cheers!
Love your reaction. And the new intro. Nice job. Love these guys. I am a fan of Home Free and - as you've said time and time again - not a bad song. All are good. Tim is amazing. And Adam Rupp. But I love them all.
Kristi covered this with "favorite reactor, favorite band". Absolutely spot on reaction and great beginning to a Saturday morning. Even if I have to go to work. Retail never stops. See ya in the next one, Saucey! Peace out.
Don't know if she wrote it but was done by country singer Maren Morris first time I heard it. Again HomeFree improved it for me and I like this version better. Tim's voice is perfect with all his backup boys and Adam's beatboxing skills really shine. Thanks again for a great reaction 😄. I'm with you love Chances sweet warm voice. 🎶
Awesome reaction as usual. We don’t need to watch to the end to like your reactions, we already know we will. A big thanks to the patrons for sharing their requests with us.
They just get ya goin when they sing..this one has me jammin right along with them..and you were too..love those expressions when tim hits the lows and austin hits the highs..they just get in your soul, don't they.❤
This song/video was my introduction to Home Free and I've been hooked ever since! This will always be my all-time favorite HF video! When they sing this live...they get all the fans involved on the Amen part...its just awesome!
In this one, my favorite little moment within the awesome video is when Chance and Rob lean into each other to duet "it gets my cold heart burnin'". Just love to see the guys being bros, lovin' the music.
You were being a fanboy over Rob saying your name. Now I'm a fangirl over your saying my name! That's right, you are reactor rockstar! Thanks for the reaction! Bessie
Funny story about Adam's beatboxing. Had watched them nightly online for a couple years or so before we got to go to a live show. I watched The Sing Off, watched all the live shows people posted, etc. So I KNEW no instruments. The first show we went to they started singing in the dark and my husband said, I thought they didn't use instruments. I literally sat there so puzzled saying I know, I'm not sure what's going on (because it sounded like he always does, like instruments!). Then the lights came on and we saw them on the stage and doing it all like always with voices only! So even after following them and watching everything the put out you can still go to their concert and be shocked there are no instruments! lol! Take care and keep them coming! We're with you on the journey.
I would like to see you react to Trace Adkins "Arlington" and "Til The Last Shots Fired" on the CMA's featuring the West Point Glee Club, and "Still a Soldier"
If you like this song you might like to check out Home Free Falls. It's connected bits of a live concert taken from the audience. Then you'll understand why the beginning of My Church always me giggle.
I love Chance’s voice! If you want a good Home Free video to heat Chance shine check out their Cover Me Up cover! It’s a couple years older but it’s my new go to song! (Well one of them lol) and watch to the end for the extra 😉. Another good one is the Shakira cover of Try secret thing from Zootopia! Great feel good song!
Nick, now ya know why it's got 14 million views, it's another case of Home Free taking a great song, and elevating it. I just love this one brother....by the way, excuse me for writing the equivalent of War & Peace but I sometimes just get to writing, and I can't stop.
I was so confused, who was humming the baseline when Geoff was singing. THEY had a really deep resonant base. Was it the beat boxer ? Adam right? I thought I heard him sing in another video more tenor. Sorry new to HF here. Loved it and loved the reaction Nick, especially the thumbnail. 😎
@@kelleyoneal2578 yup I did. Thanks. I'm a Pentaholic just starting the HF and VP journey. Plus there are members who have left and then come and then left. Haha so watching video's (not so much HF as V P) out of chronological order is confusing. Thanks for assisting me in my journey. 😎
@@susanbeckmolloy9536 You're welcome. I am a Patron of Tim, Geoff, Home Free, VoicePlay and Sauceydad. I have an autographed still shot from Hoist The Colours, and 2 from just Geoff. He accidentally misspelled my name on first one, but when Geoff is that gorgeous, I give him a pass. Hoping to meet Tim at his birthday bash concert in July in Nashville and hoping VoicePlay can add a 5th member (Omar) and do shows.
The other bass in HF is Chance (Adam Chance, but we just call him Chance to save confusion since the beatboxer's name is Adam, too). He sings in a beautiful, smooth baritone-bass range and takes over the bass line for Tim whenever Tim has a lead vocal or is singing up in a higher range (Tim sings 5+ octaves). Chance is the cutie with a shorter beard and baseball cap. He's leaning on the back part of the car. ❤
I recently saw an interview with Austin Brown wherein he mentioned appearing with his father in a gospel group by the time he was 5 or 6 years old. Kind of explains why reactors keep saying he has a gospel sound , , ,
He’s you but he can sing….hahahaha. This is by Maren Morris. Don’t know her version but this is sooo good. I love Chance too so try I Can’t Outrun You or Yours….love those. Good reaction Saucey man! 😀😍
You need to listen to am original by Home Free " Summer in the country" Also if you haven't already listened to " Between a rock and a hard place" that they are singing.
FYI Nick, Chance was the Bass on this entire song, Tim as great as a bass man that he is Chance is also a very good bass. But remember Tim sings Chance does Bass. This is How We Roll ...please it's a funny cover
I love in this song how Tim and Chance switch back and forth on the bass. It’s a great way to use their voices!
Tim gets all the credit for being the amazing bass for Home Free, and he is. However, Chance doesn't get anywhere near enough credit for being the guy who holds down the bass in a good number of Home Free songs. Love Chance and agree with you ... he's the best thing that ever happened to Home Free !
Chance sang most of the bass on this whole song. He is so talented!
I think the reason it takes people a while to hear how special Chance's voice is, is because it takes a bit of time to learn all of the content. But, WOW! Love Chance's smooooth voice!
Chance has so much texture to his voice. I love hearing him take the lead...but then i love to hear them all too.
Tim said that the Street Corner Symphony had asked him to join them for The Sing Off, he said no and thankfully he did because Chance may have never joined HF. Tim explains it so much better lol
I love all their voices. Them rotating the lead means that every time another member takes the lead your ears say 'hell yeah'.

Home Free and Voiceplay brought me to your channel. Trying to talk my kids into getting me a Saucy Fry shirt for Mother's Day
Chance has such a smooth voice, peeps tend to forget he holds the bass down when Tim sings 😍 Chance & Fox +Hound singing "Hurt" is a must 🔥🔥
I think if I was driving down that back road and came across all those tall guys....I would have to stop and say howdie.
One of my favorite "ear worms" 😆 Once I hear Adam's percussion on this one it replays in my head for the rest of the day ❤️🎼🥰🎶❤️

Austin is my favorite but Chance is becoming a close second!!
Austin just goes full southern gospel on this one!! I love it!!
Chance has a great voice!! Watch "I CAN'T OUTRUN YOU" where he is the lead. The backup harmonies are insane!!!
Looooove that song!
Agree - and the video Chance produced.
So glad you finally got to this one! It's one of the first songs I heard from them, and is still on my short list of favorites. And I love how Austin goes full gospel!

Saucey have you reacted to Home Free singing “in the blood?” It’s one of my favorites and I believe you would love it too.
They just get ya goin when they sing..this one has me jammin right along with them..and you were too..love those expressions when tim hits the lows and austin hits the highs..they just get in your soul, don't they.❤
As much as I love ALL of them...Chance and Austin are my top 2
That was a cover of a Marin Morris song. I too love HF , They are magic sounding. 🎼🦋🎵💕🎶
Finally!
Chance has really grown on me too.
This is my favorite cover by Home Free.
I ALWAYS like Home Free covers of anything they choose to do better than the originals. Great reaction
This song/video was my introduction to Home Free and I've been hooked ever since! This will always be my all-time favorite HF video! When they sing this live...they get all the fans involved on the Amen part...its just awesome!

I need you to do In The Blood
soon but I will warn you Tissues are a must the first time ok first few times .
On my playlist everyday ❤️🙌🙌

Hey sausey dad! This us a real good one!! Home Free and Home Fry forever!!
your so right about Chance , he keeps up very well , he really has a great voice always on pitch ...
Your face says it all! Love it 🥰
I love your facial expressions! You are awesome. Yeah they still amaze me after years and years!
Your Rupp Shot for me isn’t a gun, it is a new name for a rim shot that is played on the drums. Love it!,
I thought the same thing. But I now think it works for both! ❤
If only I could get this song on Itunes, my neighbors up and down my road would all know it too!

The original was done by Maren Morris released in January 2016
I can't pick a favorite either, but I love Chance's smooth voice!
lol yes catch your breath please. Love your reactions as usual!!!
This is on my playlist
Love this song and love your reactions. React to their latest Between a Rock and a Heartache.
❤️🔥❤️🔥
Yes! We need Rupp shot merch!
Yeah, I know. I can't pick a favorite either. Ok. Rupp. 😜 Saw them in Sept. 2022. So much fun! Love your reactions.
If you have a big BBQ I think that leads to you having a BACK YARD BASH of your own! Maybe record an intro?
Omg, a Rupp shock!!
"Do it for the thumbnail" ROTFLOL!!!
Maren Morris is the young lady who first recorded this. She co-wrote this with Busbee.
