Jerry Neutron, can you please hook me up with a GPU I am trying to make a computer with the Ryzon 5 1500x so please help me. I am 16 year young so I can't really accomplish much, I am also trying to stream. If you see this please contact me if you want if you don't thank you anyways. Have a great day!
Of course. Old tech support joke about a woman calling to say she broke her cup holder. She was using CD rom drive as cup holder. I use the drive bays for DVD rom and for drawers to hold screws, Arctic MX 4 and of course DVDs. I like optical drives. I've been around since the 300 baud modem and BBS days.
Erko Abdurahman you can always buy a gtx 1060 tho. it will do overall very good in every game. meanwhile rx cards are great in some games and in others not so good.
It's crazy! I'm in the process of moving so I don't really have the money to buy the rest of the components i need to complete my Ryzen build anyway, so I'm just going to wait until gpu prices come back down.
I had this kit unused in a drawer. G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Intel Z170 Platform / Intel X99 Platform Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-16GVKB
+Christopher james----did you watched the vid above guy?? Don`t tell me how systems works, please. I know, that fast memory is important for Ryzen...but you will see FPS difference only with strong GPU (NVidia 1070 or above) or with CPU demanded games like GTA V or Ashes for singularity. In combination with a rx 580 it doesnt matter if you are using a 2133MhZ or 3200 MhZmemory. The difference in frames is max 1-3 FPS. If you don`t know how systems work don`t teach, please.
Is the pc currently working fine and is it worth upgrade from i5 to ryzen 5 1600 with water cooling? btw whats your temperatures, in idle and gaming? thanks i'm just curious to see if is worth upgrading from i5 1550 to i5 1551 or i5 1550 to ryzen 5 1600
Thanks for the tip about the 3000 RAM. I'm building my first PC, and I'd been trying to figure out the right one to get. All the prices for RAM and graphics cards are crazy right now. I'm trying to wait them out. I might as well pick up good info like this while I wait.
My cpu is ryzen 5 2600x My power supply have 4 pin power connecter only for cpu, Necessary any time want 6pin cpu connecter? can work cpu without cpu power connecter?
Coming from someone who used an air cooler in their original build and switched to a CLC. I would hands down switch back to air cooling. Less point of failure and they're quieter. I hate listening to water gurgling, the pump, and the fans....smh. ENERMAX ETS-T40 BK come back to me for AM4!!!
I actually like the gurgling sound lol, not a fan of the pump noise though. I've got 4 other AM4 coolers here though so I've got backups if it gets annoying
You should've gone with 3 120mm airflows if you're just using them for case intake and outtake. The pressure fans are only beneficial if you use them on radiators.
It's nice seeing someone calling out that an AIO isn't always the answer. A big air cooler probably would have made for a quieter build for less money.
Got myself the same board and memory kit as yours and also the same 1600. I wonder if you got any kind of trouble with them? At first I booted fine, and try to install Windows 7, and since it won't instantly work, I remove the HDD to my current system to copy amd drivers. Installed the HDD again and the system won't post. Tried barebone boot, cleared CMOS, one RAM stick, etc with no progress. I am at a point where I'm thinking about returning the board and worried that my CPU is busted.
Haven't got a chance to change anything. Just finished installing windows 7 and replacing the hdd. But all's well now. Brought the board to the service centre yesterday and the technician updated the bios, and everything works fine now. There are many people are experiencing the same problem as me. Thank you for your response!
unusualnoob209 you are better of with r5 1600, you gotta put money in decent gpu and a sturdy mobo like asus tuf series Performance diff between 1600 and 1600x is like 7-10%
Just discovered this channel and am loving it. Subbed. And YES I built a Ryzen 7 1700 PC just last week for myself. Ryzen 7 1700 ASRock X370 Fatal1ty Pro Gaming board 32gig Corsair 2666MHz (I'm not an OC'r so this is good enough for me) EVGA 1080ti 275gig Crucial SSD for OS 3 TB Seagate Barracuda for games/misc. Corsair 750 PSU Phanteks Enthoo Case 3 140mm Corsair LED Fans (Red) 2 120mm Corsair LED Fans (Red) Phanteks Cable Extensions Full Set (Red)
JUST before the major mining boom I landed an 8GB XFX RX 480 for $120. Sold it as soon as the boom began, scored a GTX 1070 FE for $300 and pocketed the rest. Paired it with my Ryzen 5 1600 and it's been amazing!
I've had my build together for a while now. Ryzen 7 1700@3.9ghz (Couldn't hit 4 :c), 16GB 2133mhz(it isnt validated unfortunately, but should run at 3200), RX 480 8GB, 120GB OCZ SSD/ 1TB and 4TB HDDs
Hi I am from the uk and thinking about building a pc however I just saw used one for $385 dollars it has. CPU: AMDFX 8350 at 4.2ghz, Hyper x 8gb ddr3, Msi 970 motherboard, GPU Msi gtx 760 2gb all in a new NZXT case, PSU : corsair CX600M, 500gb hdd (7200pm) , operating system win 7 64bit.op. I can change the the gpu to gigabyte 780Ti for a extra 90 dolllars . Also I'm more likely to build a pc but if is good I may buy it to save time total cost $385 or $475 with the other gpu.
I'm still not fan of AIOs, they look worst than massive air cooler IMO and what you gain in temps exactly? Should have AIO back in days; air coolers are so silent now and yeah bare metal looks better IMO
hy mate,. i just purchased a MSI B360 PC Mate and a Ryzen 5 1600 processor, i put it together a few hour ago before i write this comment. al i wanted to ask is,.do you have to update your bios? cuz my pc won't post anything on screen and there's red led on my board that exactly on cpu part, i try everything but it's still won't post anything. i googling it, and so many forum says that the bios needs to update, but my problem is how can i update my bios while my pc won't work.? sadly it's saturday night and the component dealer where i bhought this board already closed. i don't know if i have to wait 2 days just to send my PC Mate back to them and hopely they might help. what do you guys think? or maybe there's anyone have a same issue with me? sorry for my bad English bro,.

Jerry Neutron I've recently changed my build & here it is -BUILD- CPU: •Ryzen 5 1600 GPU: •GTX 1060 OC 6GB RAM: •Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 Gb (2x8GB) 3000 MHz Motherboard: •ASUS Prime B350-Plus •Asrock Fatal1ty AB350 K4 Gaming Storage: •1 TB HDD 7200 rpm PSU: •500-550W Bronze PSU Monitor: •ASUS Monitor I would mainly use this for gaming as well as video editing & rendering. Case: •??? ~ ?
yeah you prob coulda gotten away with $900-1k on this build if you chose cheaper parts that literally have no impact on performance, like 1tb hhd instead of 480gb ssd, kept the rosewill default fans, kept the Wraith Spire cooler etc(well maybe the cooler would have slight temp performance impact), and maybe just start with 8gb of ram instead of 16(thats like an $80 difference). either way great build! 1600+580 = best combo
Jerry Neutron : top build Ryzen beast build....especially that Asus Strix RX 580 8GB....I used to own that card and it has a very good overdesigned cooling system as well as thermal sensor on the VRM for the gpu core and the VRM for the memory which is rare and very useful :).
Nice Vid, Jerry. Just for Information...you don`t need a fast RAM with this GPU. You will see no difference between 2400MHZ RAM or 3200MHZ RAM. Exception: Very CPU-demanded games (Ashes of benchmark and GTA V). The GPU is the limited factor here. If you have a stronger GPU (1070 above) then the RAM speed matters. I have this Info from "Hardware unboxed" because i build the same PC (Ryzen 1600+RX580) and i searched for infos. BTW: Because the GPU is the bottleneck....instead of OC your CPU in the next vids...maybe it is better to show, how to undervolt the Ryzen 1600.
the 1080p/1440p benchmarks are out people, go watch now! ruclips.net/video/pdcg299g0yw/видео.html

Chopper1521 Dude youre 16 you can get a job, are you really expecting someone to hand you a 300+ dollar gpu?
Wzup Jerry! Ryan Little here! I'm honored to have my music in your video, dude :)))
How did you find me?! :O I heard your music first on Taylor Ray's channel
Nice build. But no 5.25" drive bay, where am I going to install my cup holder?
Lukiel666 lol i hope that was a joke
Of course. Old tech support joke about a woman calling to say she broke her cup holder. She was using CD rom drive as cup holder. I use the drive bays for DVD rom and for drawers to hold screws, Arctic MX 4 and of course DVDs. I like optical drives. I've been around since the 300 baud modem and BBS days.
looool
Good build, came out nice, I really like how the cables go with it.
thanks big dawg!
Nice rofl sarcasm, this idiot didnt even understood
lol good luck finding a 480/580 with this mining craze
yeahhhhh :/
Erko Abdurahman you can always buy a gtx 1060 tho. it will do overall very good in every game. meanwhile rx cards are great in some games and in others not so good.
Arttu Oikarinen the others are nvidia gimpworks games ;)
they are good in everything now lol, on par with 1060 and beats it in some titles, most of the performance with amd was driver based
It's crazy! I'm in the process of moving so I don't really have the money to buy the rest of the components i need to complete my Ryzen build anyway, so I'm just going to wait until gpu prices come back down.
Have you built a Ryzen system yet? Sí or No?
Jerry Neutron no, Im poor
Jerry Neutron yeah a 1600 and 1070
I will soon as a mining rig. Just need to wait for vega to come out and hope its even better then the 480 and 580s at mining.
AstroMagic good idea
Do you gain anything in mining with a more powerful CPU?
Well with an rx580 this is a $10000 pc
$10000???!
yes. rx580 is currently the most expensive gpu ever made XD
+Lawrence Timme Oh yeah 😂
Yeah its 2500 on ebay
Does the amd ryzen 5 1600 come with a cpu cooler?
I just built a PC identical to yours.
Ryzen 5 1600
Gtx 1060 6gb
Asus b350-f
Adata 16gb 2666
First time here. Really good that you take each part in your hands and spin it around!
I have a Ryzen 5 1600 and ASUS Prime X370 PRO. Just updated the bios with AMD's latest AGESA code and my ram is now at 3200. Finally!
Nice, my RAM has been a pain at times with Ryzen tbh. Which kit do you have?
I had this kit unused in a drawer. G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Intel Z170 Platform / Intel X99 Platform Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-16GVKB
RAM Speed doesn`t matter with the 580....The GPU is the bottleneck of the CPU.
montetank, We aren't talking about gpu bottlenecks. RAM speed is very important with Ryzen cpu's due to the Infinity Fabric Interconnects.
+Christopher james----did you watched the vid above guy?? Don`t tell me how systems works, please. Im building my RX 580 with the new i5 8400 hope it works well
what is that thing when he unscrew it 8:08
doesnt the ryzen 5 1600 come with stock cpu cooler?
yep, I still have it
is it decent?
Im Zupi better than intel's stock cooler
Built my pc today. ryzen 1700 and it runs like a beast :D
Could have skipped the modded cables and save that money for a more beautiful motherboard such as gaming k7 or gaming 5 imo :p

You should've gone with 3 120mm airflows if you're just using them for case intake and outtake. The pressure fans are only beneficial if you use them on radiators.
static pressure fans are beneficial for any restrictive airflow areas not just radiators.
I didn't have a good look at the case you used but I guess using pressure fanse with this one makes sense, my mistake. Nice build btw.
It's nice, colours just look weird to me. Would have used black cables and placed the CPU cooler other way around
I tried to flip the AIO the other way around but it seemed like the hoses were starting to kink...plus I wanted the logo to be right-side-up
Mid Range? 580 can handle most at 1080 and high settings?
I too built a r5 1600 Pc loving it, and as a content creator I'm sure you are as well ;D
Great job, your build is stunning!
thanks guys!
Just built my pc a couple weeks ago with a Ryzen 5 1600, msi x370 pro MB and gtx 1060 :)
Hi. I have two questions. Is this PC better then built with i7 7700 or i5 7500. Is there option to connect old VGA monitor with new GPU?
It's nice seeing someone calling out that an AIO isn't always the answer. A big air cooler probably would have made for a quieter build for less money.
How much was the ram when you bought them?
Holy shit its Gerald from Hey Arnold
Any GPU recommendation for this motherboard around 100-200$? Will that work with this CPU?
Got myself the same board and memory kit as yours and also the same 1600. I wonder if you got any kind of trouble with them? i put together an almost identical build with a 550w power supply which is still enough correct? With no or minimal overclocking.
+BigSchweetie Yep, hopefully it's a good quality power supply
EVGA 80+ Bronze
Hi man i have msi b450 gaming plus and rysen5 1600, gpu msi rx 480 8gb, does it boot from the first try?
Do you really need more than 450W PSU?
He's the black jimmy neutron
I’m building my first pc and was curious if the Ryzen 5 1600x would work with the Gigabyte GTX 1050ti?
unusualnoob209 you are better of with r5 1600, you gotta put money in decent gpu and a sturdy mobo like asus tuf series
Performance diff between 1600 and 1600x is like 7-10%
Odd you decided to go with liquid cooling when the amd ryzen 1600 comes with a very good air cooler that costs no extra money.
Awsome build man!!
Just discovered this channel and am loving it. Subbed. And YES I built a Ryzen 7 1700 PC just last week for myself.
Ryzen 7 1700
ASRock X370 Fatal1ty Pro Gaming board
32gig Corsair 2666MHz (I'm not an OC'r so this is good enough for me)
EVGA 1080ti
275gig Crucial SSD for OS
3 TB Seagate Barracuda for games/misc.
Corsair 750 PSU
Phanteks Enthoo Case
3 140mm Corsair LED Fans (Red)
2 120mm Corsair LED Fans (Red)
Phanteks Cable Extensions Full Set (Red)
Keep it rolling Jerry, nice stuff!
I'm thinking of buying the Ryzen 5 1600, do I need to buy another cooler like jerry or will the stock cooler be good enough?
+Charlie Cairns If you plan to overclock to 3.8+Ghz I'd recommend an aftermarket cooler
JUST before the major mining boom I landed an 8GB XFX RX 480 for $120. Sold it as soon as the boom began, scored a GTX 1070 FE for $300 and pocketed the rest.

Teddey nice
Teddey why rx480 lol it is like the worst thibg in your build
Arttu Oikarinen why? RX580 is 2-5% more performance and 25% more power consumpation
malto malto lol when did i say you have to use an fucking amd gpu? you can go like 1070
Hi I am from the uk and thinking about building a pc however I just saw used one for $385 dollars it has. I'm still not fan of AIOs, they look worst than massive air cooler IMO and what you gain in temps exactly?
Should have AIO back in days; air coolers are so silent now and yeah bare metal looks better IMO
Sick build, thumbs up!
Great build, can't wait for the bench marks, Are you able to include Ghost Recon Wildlands in the benchmark video? Please and thanksyou.
whats up man, I'll have to see if I can get my hands on a key since I don't currently own the game
NEW
what is the best ram for ryzen 3 1300x For asus Rog 350-f TNx
hy mate,.
i just purchased a MSI B360 PC Mate and a Ryzen 5 1600 processor, i put it together a few hour ago before i write this comment.
al i wanted to ask is,.do you have to update your bios? cuz my pc won't post anything on screen and there's red led on my board that exactly on cpu part, i try everything but it's still won't post anything.
i googling it, and so many forum says that the bios needs to update, but my problem is how can i update my bios while my pc won't work.? sadly it's saturday night and the component dealer where i bhought this board already closed. i don't know if i have to wait 2 days just to send my PC Mate back to them and hopely they might help.
what do you guys think? or maybe there's anyone have a same issue with me?
sorry for my bad English bro,.
What are some good b350 motherboards for the 1600?
a nice build, bit of a mismatch with the components (all good components), idk a static green color led shot and maybe a green striped vinyl wrap on the AIO hoses to balance out the cable extensions. just being nitpicky :p
You got a sub! Keep the great videos coming!!!
Would you be getting ultra settings at 60fps+ with this build?
Mersh it would definitely hit ultra on minecraft with 60 fps, ultra. uh 60fps ultra on minesweeper too? what other games uhh
Nice video.. explained it in better way compare to other people around the world.
Would you please explain what performance it is giving and how good is this processor when it comes to gaming?
Will be buying in next 4 days. i am waiting for your reply.
performance benchmarks are here ruclips.net/video/pdcg299g0yw/видео.html
Hi, i'm gonna be building my rig it's gonna be

Ryzen 5 1600,
ASUS Prime B350M-A motherboard,
CORSAIR 8GB Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666MHz ,
2TB Seagate Barracuda HDD,
so i was wondering will Seasonic S12 II 520W be enough for this build or should i go for the 620W version? :D
RealChamp check pcpartpicker.com
There is no compatibility issues found :D that should mean i'm good to go
***** awesome! Good luck buddy :)
U didn't have problems with that PSU?
Jerry can you tell me if my future build is okay? I'm new to PCMR and just unsure about everything.
AND Radeon RX 580 8GB
MSI B350M Gaming Pro
R5 1600x
Ballistix Sport 8GB
WD 1TB Blue
Phanteks Eclipse P400
I don't know what my PSU should be can you give me suggestions?
what is your budget?
is 500 watts enough for this build??
i need to know asap
1600 rates 65 watts. Juice to spare!
Got the same case in white with my 1700x in a custom loop.
Correction - I have the original Anidess Crystal AI white which is what this is but with a different name.
What did you do with that B250 strix?
+HOW TO I still have it
will you do a build with it?
I've used it a couple times already ruclips.net/video/efKnwGVij0w/видео.html & ruclips.net/p/PLbZ2O4IngBgD7maIibLiWMynMSCfLlbCn

Good job, I smashed that like and subscribe
@JerryNeutron Yo I saw your Ryzen Build with the aio. I have a CM ML 120 mm, and if I have it in the PC Freezes Up. Can you Help? Great Videos BTW!
anyone got some great desk recommendations ? ones that have legs
I have the same build but with Zotac 1060 6GB and Ryzen OC to 3.7Ghz
That's Great!
is 550 watt psu enough for rx 580 and ryzen 5 1600?
yes, ideal
It works well? Tell me pls
What camera and mic do you use?
Nikon D5300 & Giant Squid Lav Mic w/ Zoom H1
do you really recommend a liquid cooler for a non x ryzen ? @Jerry Neutron
No need. Ryzen 5's are low energy.
Tosin Abasi?
Very good video Awesome bulid I wish u cross 100K subs little days I like ur video...your AWESOME man
Great vid. Subscribed
which monitor would you recommend for this build I need a reply ASAP!!
I came back and watched the entirety of the video!
I wanna see the benchmark
benchmarks are here! ruclips.net/video/pdcg299g0yw/видео.html
I built my own one about a week ago:
RYZEN 5 1600
GTX 1050ti
8gb 3000mhz
Msi b350m
1TB SSHD
550w psu
I think I should have got a GTX 1060 or rx 580
if the build is for gaming then yeah you should've picked up a 1060/580
yeah you prob coulda gotten away with $900-1k on this build if you chose cheaper parts that literally have no impact on performance, like 1tb hhd instead of 480gb ssd, kept the rosewill default fans, kept the Wraith Spire cooler etc(well maybe the cooler would have slight temp performance impact), and maybe just start with 8gb of ram instead of 16(thats like an $80 difference). either way great build! 1600+580 = best combo
How to enable amd-v
Total cost of the build?
it's in the video...but gl getting it for that price now lol
Dope upload ! 😍
$20 for the sleeved cables?...More like $60 unless you got a great deal somewhere!...Show me where they cost $20?
+EGGUZMAN I got them on sale at NewEgg
EGGUZMAN yeah the phanteks kits are only 30 normally, 20 on sale sounds reasonable.
how much price for this spec?
Muhd Akmar Arif Zakaria Did you not just watch his video?
1154 bucks for midrange?
Fuck!
I thought like max. 600 or something.
Armagan Sengül same
Armagan that's the midrange of those pc with DDR3 RAM generation dude come on
Nice build I got a similar setup the performance is awesome! :)
Nice, what do you use it for?
***** almost everything but mostly gaming. :)
nice video, i really like and i am a new sub.
beautiful build I love it
gracias!
building my own ryzen 5 1600 in just 2 months ;)
Jerry Neutron : top build Ryzen beast build....especially that Asus Strix RX 580 8GB....I used to own that card and it has a very good overdesigned cooling system as well as thermal sensor on the VRM for the gpu core and the VRM for the memory which is rare and very useful :).
That Board Is sooo Cheap but i believe it has SLI AND CROSSFIRE
Nice PC :-)
I have a same system but my vga card is RX 570 8GB OC :-)
It's beautiful.
Build pics on are PCPP btw pcpartpicker.com/b/FbKBD3
Not true. There is adiffernce in ryzen CPU with 2400 and 3000mhz ram.
Btw gpu is Not limiting the cpu. Never Seen such a stupid comment
Nice built man.. its can be my Reference :')
nice video bro
hey the 650W is overkill other than that this is a nice build
@Pc ColdWar can I use a CX550m PSU? Pls respond I'm very stressed looking for power supplies ):
@Pc ColdWar I will use a ryzen 5 1600 at 3.2 GHz and a Rx 580 in sessions of gaming as 4-6 hours, so a 550 PSU is good? Or I will have problems
@Pc ColdWar I only use for gaming or Google
@Pc ColdWar I don't want oc anything but the cpu consume confuse me
@Pc ColdWar and in the gaming totally ok? I play games like R2 REMAKE, apex, GTA V, etc
If you wanna get your seizure on i got you covered lol 😄
