Imagine if at the end of this episode they had said "The End, Thank you for joining us on our 20+ years journey, MCU will NOT return" it would have broken the internet
Lmao. For sure would be cool once upon a time, but not here. Im gonna nitpick a bit on why it totally wouldnt work - Its not 20+ years journey yet first of all xd They cant claim to have made Spiderman and Xmen movies just because they connect them now through multiverse. + it would only work if they havent already announced upcoming projects for next 5 years xd Its like snapping all characters in Infinity War, who we already know were announced to have upcoming movies, like Spiderman 2, Doctor Strange 2, Guardians Vol 3, Black Panther 2? xD Each marvel fan who knew, also knew they will be back soon right then when they began to dissapear in IW, so it held no value. I remember all people crying at Tom Holland dissapearing. Yeah, it was emotional, but it was far less impactful knowing from the announcments they HAVE TO get him back before 2019 when Spiderman 2 comes out xd
People would say it's too sudden and accuse that MCU just gave up midway. Especially in this time of 'MCU decline'.
Anyone here remember when the Doctor Who episode “The Pandorica Opens” aired? For about a week, Steven Moffat was putting out statements that amounted to: The universe just ended, so there won’t be any “future” episodes of Doctor Who; it’ll all be stuff from the past.
@@gerstelb ahhhh the good old days!
I love the "we ARE gods" line when loki says it here. Because any other time before this show, even in season 1, he'd say it with such brazen arrogance. But here, he says it bearing the full weight of what those words mean.
Been a person who experiences stuttering since birth, I like the portrayal of Victor Timely from Jonathan Majors, it does feel pretty authentic with the amount of pauses he does between sentences, it’s something that you just have to accept.
That's great! I hope it comes across as authentic, it didn't feel that way to me, but I don't know the varied types of experiences either from that time period, or with speech impediments like that. It felt like an "easy" choice for Majors to do, but maybe I'm not giving him enough credit for his accuracy and authenticity. Thanks for sharing! = )
@@hectorminator Wow thanks for the reply on this means a lot, looking forward to more reactions and your podcasts from you guys. 😁😁
19:22 the synchronised head movements with the shock and frustration of the abrupt ending hahaha had me on the floor 😂😂😂
how can you not like his performance with Victor has the stutter... "it's take him so long to get the words out..." yeah, he has a F'N STUTTER LOL
Right? That’s what I’m saying. I think though they’re just saying they wish they hadn’t given the character a stutter. I disagree though, I think it was a clever way to draw people into what he was saying.
Victor annoys me so much with how slow he talks! It's like 3 words a minute and I don't get why he doesn't speak faster! His performance on stage in episode 3 was so slow because he chose to speak only like 3 words at a time instead of ONE full sentence!😂
@@fuzzyotterpaws4395 People that have stutters choose their words carefully and speak more slowly to try and prevent stuttering.
You'd think Hector would be more empathetic given his own speech impediment. The one where every theory he posits is wrong.
@@sirjamesmonsterliveshere8969 This is really offensive. Delete this comment, it's insulting to equate not liking me with actual speech impediments.
I actually really like the fact Victor stutters because it shows that he is probably the most human amongst the variants and one that isn’t necessarily perfect. Plus it makes him hugely stand out from the other variants and shows the great amount of range Majors has given to these variants. Unfortunately given the ongoing legal situation he’s going through there is the possibility that he may need to be recasted going forward if he is proven guilty which is a shame because I really felt Majors was the perfect fit for this character.
Victor just gets his words out in a Timely manner 👌. I think it's a good contrast and adds suspense in a time crunch. Plus, yknow...stutters exist so 😅
Rewatching these reactions with you guys has reminded me just how great this show is. This season in particular is absolute peak MCU as far as I’m concerned.
The writers of this definitely need to be given more MCU stuff. Loki is the #1 Marvel show now. Competing with Andor for best D+ show IMO
The main directors of this series are doing Daredevil Born Again and they are interested in maybe doing Secret Wars as well.
Funny how everyone was complaining about Rick & Morty writers ruining the MCU but they're the ones that wrote this show
Eric Martin is main person behind majority of writtings. Dude did 4 ep od rick and morty one episode of community and another project. I hope they involve him more too
Victor Timely knows where his towel is at. For me, the chosen mannerisms work for him _because_ they are so unlike He Who Remains.
(Love that the He Who Remains we saw at the start of this one, looked to be wor-working the last bits of Victor out of himself.)
Victor is different from He Who Remains, which I like cuz it's how they distinguish these variants. Victor is a stutter unlike the man at the end of time
10:36 I heard a similar comment on another reaction channel. A lot of people in that comment section said that Victor's stutter was very similar to their own period that so many people think that a stutter is a specific way when there's so many different types. And they really enjoyed that he brought a new aspect to that type a speech pattern.
I think it also needs to be acknowledged that Victor timely is from the 1800s. Victor timely is a black man from the 1800s. He likely would have been self taught. And could have even taught himself. It also has been suggesting Timely's stutter was his mind moving faster than his mouth.
Lastly, if yoyr theory is right Hector. And He Who Remains is Victor Timely, then the speech pattern would make since. From what this variant would have been in 1800s vs what would happen after he lived who knows how many centuries.
He who remains was alive in the 31st century. He told us that straight up in season 1.
17:50 I was waiting for this reaction for sooooo long. And you guys didn't disappoint.
+1 :)
Took me a minute to figure out why they were saying they had to wait five weeks to see the next episode. When i realized it's because they had access to the first 4 episodes right away, it made me kind of grateful to be a regular person and only have to deal with the pain of each cliffhanger for one week apiece.
FOR REAL. haha it kinda sucked having to wait that long!
Was very much in Adam’s camp about wanting to see the cube carnage, but after rewatches, I feel like not showing even a hint of the goo ended up being the key to earning the full effect of the spaghetti. It just happens so suddenly but so unexpectedly detailed at the same time.
It's funny how visual media creators and consumers have to relearn this lesson all the time. From Jaws to Prey to Loki. If you sell the idea you don't need the visual effect. The imagination will create something way worse.
This episode was so much fun watching.
“Biiiiiitch have you ever had some pie?” 😂😂😂 6:06 - 6:15
Excited to see your ep 5-6 reactions. No spoilers.
Ikr it's gonna be so good
Pretty sure they've seen them already, so you wouldn't be spoiling anything.
Nobody mention the cameo by the Flying Spaghetti Monster!!
What about spoiled milk
The Groundhog Day scene in episode 6 was so cool and definitely upped my rating of the show!
victor timely is played perfectly, a nutty professor from the 1800s who has a speech impetiment
Anyone thought of replacing Hector's 1994 VHS Camcorder that he records his reactions with? Something from the last decade or so would be a huge upgrade in video quality. 😂
It's already been replaced, but we recorded these when I was at my girlfriend's parent's house on the east coast, only using my gf's laptop. Sorry!
17:51 He Who Lo Meins
Ok this deserves so many more likes lmao 👏🏽👏🏽
Wait the finale, guys... I was overwhelmed by different emotions :)
I felt like Miss Minutes with the box scene, waiting to see your reactions when Victor gets Spaghettified 😂
I was just like Miss Minutes, smiling because of how dark it was haha
I love the synchronised reaction from all 3 of you when the credits show. So good.
I cant be the only one that has being uncomfortable for how uncomfortable Hector looks in this reactions having to hold his "mic" like that 100% of the time 🤣
LOL
This was one of those 'sit through the entire credits to process my feelings' episodes 🤣 was looking forward to this reaction!
9:17 I’ve been waiting for this reaction. This was one of the harder scenes if I’m honest. What you can’t tell too much from the video is that you can hear bones cracking and then blood spilling out at the end. It was horrific.
Horrific? It was mild at best.
Depends on your imagination.
@@DarthTingleBinksokay, wow we’ve got an edgelord here
@@rickykozak58 No? I'm just super desensitized to shit. But even if I wasn't, it's still mild because they didn't show anything. And it's not that we needed to see it for it to be horrifying. It's just that they didn't do anything to make it horrifying.
It's super disappointing that they didn't show anything. I guess because it's Disney they can't/didn't want to. But I wanted to see it!😂
😂😂😂 I just got to the end of the episode, right after you said you have to wait a month, and your faces when Victor spaghettis was priceless, especially knowing how long you had to be in suspense. I have you paused to write this, and the stunned flabbergastery on your faces is pure joy to look at. 😊
I can't wait for the next episode with you!
I know flabbergastery isn’t a word, but dammit it absolutely should be 👏🏽
Your in sync reactions to the ending was so fun to watch.
You guys lived with THIS cliffhanger for several weeks!!! Oh god.
"Tom Hiddleston you're gonna make me cry" oof I'm excited for the finale reaction
I was like: Wait until the last episode.
Was so looking forward to seeing your reaction to this episode, and you did not disappoint! I barely made it a week waiting for the next episode, I could not imagine having to wait a month!! I guess getting early access is a blessing and a curse! 🤣
I feel like I’ve been waiting for years for y’all’s reaction to this episode specifically :)
The intro reminded me of Doctor Who with the space stuff almost
So damn excited to watch you guys watch the finale
Hilarious ending reaction 🤣🤣🤣
I sooo want the Miss Minutes sound bite of “uh uh uh” for a text tone.
Who else thought at first that the chocolate drink Victor Timely gave that TVA agent was the cause for his "pruning", like some liquid form of the pruner? lol
I thought the same thing when I saw the episode.
I thought it was fairly innocent victor experiencing the joys of this new technology
@@MudkipZEnjoyer Victor seemed too eager to go look at that machine that I think the showrunners had different ideas as to what he could do at the TVA with that machine (and other things there). That scene didn't have the "payoff" I expected or that they built up to that point.
@@djoscartjanother reason I thought it was innocent cause earlier he looked at the machine with great intrests
I absolutely ❤ their faces when Timely got spaghetti-fied...especially knowing how the season ends 👍🏾👌🏾 #Priceless
“Agents of shield could never.”
How dare you?
Loki was good but it wasn't THAT good. Look at the writing on Agents of SHIELD, it's a masterpiece at the very least in season 1, 4 and 5.
Victor has a stutter, he doesn't represent the average man in 1893 (which is what it sounded like you were talking about)
Right, I don't know if that choice works for me, but it does for some, and that's great. = )
Yes! Boys are back again. Really missed your reactions coming weekly ❤
Idkw, but i think its hilarious how dox delivered that line in 6:46 😂😂😂😂
Loki is the MCU's Andor.
I appreciate that Marvel took a page from Alfred Hitchcock's playbook allowing our imaginations to paint a more gruesome picture than the studios ever could.
Right? People saying that they “needed” to see it are just bad at watching TV😅
It's super disappointing that they didn't show anything. I guess because it's Disney they can't/didn't want to. But I wanted to see it!😂
@@rickykozak58I don't think you understand how it works lol. They're supposed to show it and it ruins it when they don't. I guess because it's a Disney thing it's more censored
@@fuzzyotterpaws4395, however, the way that it was done, with the facial expressions of those who see the aftermath is much more compelling, because of the different expectations of viewers. Nobody NEEDS to see it, any more than they need to see the actual occurrence of someone being fed into a wood-chipper.
@@fuzzyotterpaws4395 tell that to Hitchcock😂
Victor Timely is literally just stutterer. Jonathan Majors is doing an incredible job with the acting . Plus, Victor is way more of a victimist than other Kang variants, that's why his voice tone sound so weird at times. I respect y'all not liking it, but that doesn't mean his work isn't incredible in this regardless
I feel bad Hector has to hold his mic all season
Just the first four eps!
When did you guys watch this? I love that you had to wait five weeks before the next episode 😂
right and during that time why didnt Hector get a new headset? he's still holding the wire up. lol
@@RockFan89His arm might still be numb 😅😂😂😂😂
They get screeners a few weeks before many of the shows they watch come out for the public, like many critics do. I think their episodes are watermarked, but Disney did a drop of the first four for critics, so they watched all of these one after another!! The next reaction should be much later in time
@@ErnestoComposer ohh ok cool
Ep 4-6 are just my absolute favorites!!!
No shade intended to the other projects because I do still like those but this season of Loki hits different.
Oh this season is so good. ❤ A seeing y'all react again.
Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
I can’t wait for the finale reaction 😭
All time reaction @17:50
Forget tingles jingled, they tingles prungled...i tried 😂😂😂
FINALLY!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
This is a glorious rebirth, not an ending ❤🎉
Glad you guys are noticing how incredible the score is. Episode 6 will blow you guys away hopefully
More episodes please please please.
The ending of this episode was epic.
Are you guys gonna do Scott Pilgrim Takes Off? I Fukn LOVED it
He Who Remains and Victor Timely are Kang variants. They aren't the same being.
No clue why you would think this was the death of the MCU.
Oh, I don't know, maybe the massive explosion from where the timelines were being woven into the loom, that might have then destroyed this reality and all the other timelines as well? It isn't clear what the explosion is, and what it can do, other than taking our current scene and making it go dark.
Sacred Timeline=MCU
@@CrystalisQExcept from the events of S1 to S2 it is continuous. So we know that the events of Quantumania still happen. Not to mention the plots from previous projects that continue later that we know are in the MCU.
@@Berto2KI get what you’re saying but at this point in the show that’s a logical conclusion to come to. You ARE correct about HWR and Timely being different, since HWR told us directly in the season 1 finale that he was from the 31st century, not the 19th.
It's finally here
Those five weeks must've been torture 😂
i couldn't wait for you guys to see Miss Minutes' psycho face!
I appreciate Marvel for not showing what was probably a gorey goop box. I really don't need that in my life.
SAME.
I had the same reaction as Ms. Minutes! I like the dark stuff haha😂
Loki KNOWS that he's a god. Sylvie has never (really) experienced being a god, as she has spent her life on the run from the TVA.
Bro in the middle just made fun of a person’s stutter
LETS GO!!
it's gonna be a long 5 weeks for y'all
nah can't believe you guys don't like timely lmao he is mcu fans' new fav character !!!
❤❤❤love
Your faces @ 17:51!
It's super disappointing that they didn't show anything. I guess because it's Disney they can't/didn't want to. But I wanted to see it!😂
15:26
I love Sylvie last season, but I was soooo annoyed with her this season. Only complains but provides zero solutions.
She was definitely pushed to the background in terms of character development, etc., and it's a bummer, but the actor was still fantastic. Maybe we'll see more of her again someday.
Why y’all gotta wait so long for the next one?
FFFFFFFINALLY
Victor annoys me so much with how slow he talks! It's like 3 words a minute and I don't get why he doesn't speak faster! His performance on stage in episode 3 was so slow because he chose to speak only like 3 words at a time instead of ONE full sentence!😂
That sure do be a cuckoo clock.
If you though 5 Years Later was shocking........
Didn't Fegie said there was a reboot coming of the MCU😮
Oops, you revealed that you watched the first four episodes during the strike 😮
It would only be crossing the picket line if they promoted the show during the strike. Watching and recording the reaction at that time is fine because it wasn't released until after the strike ended.
All content creators still filmed content throughout. They just left them in the can until it was resolved. They explained this in a video when the strike ended.
They watched everything to RELEASE after the strike, thus promoting it
@@ErnestoComposerPromoting it… after the actors got their deal. Nothing wrong with that
@@scottelement Exactly, that’s what I mean
I'm happy they had to wait. Sometimes getting early access sucks.
