    Cook is not Jobs. The creativity and run way of Jobs is ending, it is time for Cook to actually do a thing or two instead of coasting and raising Iphone prices annually.

      @@same5952 I am working. Just not in IT. I still code. I learned to code for the fun of it, not for some stupid job.. Ive used up all my financial aid so getting back into school isnt as simple as it was when your young and all your parents were alive, had a better support system with less responsibilities. I think about that some times, but right now its not as easy as it seems. I was homeless for almost a year trying to get my career back, I couldnt understand all the rejections. It was like it happen JUST LIKE THAT. With a snap of the a finger most companies behaved all the same. I felt it was because of my long resume, Ive done a lot of contracting and never really stayed with a company for long. So Ive been thinking its because of the bad decisions I made, its starting to dawn on me now that maybe its not me but the industry as a whole.

      Skill issue, theres just too many programmers now. Everyone and their dog can code these days, majority of them are not good or skilled. If you were talented you'd find more than enough work freelancing. I'm also a coder and I barely have two hours to myself a day because theres so much work to do.

      @@bubbasanches4591 Well when I started off, Chat GPT wasnt around. Smart Phones werent around. I didnt need AI to do coding for me. Like some of you guys today. That in itself is frusterating. I knew AI would take IT jobs. Just not this damn fast. Most of my career I worked under people who didnt even know how to program let a lone had shitty programming skills. I am not sure how old you are but I suggest you keep your skill path lectures to your self. The subject matter is a little more complicated. And no one said I quit programming.

      Doing meditation with eyes opened ? Still having a Mousetail in 2024 ? Have u tried Quest 3 ? cost 7x less and only the resolution is abit less but can do everything + its without mousetail .

    innovator's dilemma has hit hard for all the tech companies. How much more communication do we need? How much more social media do we need? How much video resolution do we really need, processing power, memory, etc. The Apple tag is a great idea/product but it's not a huge money maker. Companies need growth and when it slows down the year over year costs continue to rise.

      R&D means nothing if you don’t have the vision to see what’s truly useful to mankind and direct your efforts down that path. Xerox invented the mouse and the graphical user interface and they did nothing with it until Steve Jobs stole it. The Apple Vision Pro is a retread of decades old VR technology, they chose the wrong path, a niche product not really useful to most people.

      They still got some good points like ease of usage , great store locations , great return service . But yes , in terms of the product , they failed with the Car , they failed with the VR headset , they recently failed with the Mini 6 ( jelly scroll ) . as for the phone , i rather get a Foldable pixel 9 pro ...

During the pandemic people overplayed their hands with the money they got not thinking about the future inflation rates or the panic state for lenders and buyers are feeling rn, socialism might just help keep the word sane. now when the inflation rate is gets adjusted every quarter people keep realizing how much money the rich have pushed in their margins to make profits during the pandemic. The difference between high income and low income jobs have never been this far apart. There are no middle class citizens anymore.

    Demographics are not keeping up. There are not enough young adults. We older kids had a lifelong uphill battle to only get pennies on the dollar. Planned parenting is simple. Don't bring more victims into existence for excessive exploitation for country and corporate.

    Time for Timmy to do what Biden did, step aside and find someone much younger with deep desire to innovate, stop the walled garden, I could go on, I fell away from apple decades ago, will not buy any of their products unless I really have to and only because Intel and Microsoft are so awful.
    My favorite Mac to program of all time was the 68030 machines, they were easy to fully understand and completely predictable program timings, now its just so much magic.

      Most people don’t go into the store telling themselves they want to buy something innovative. That’s for early adopters, who make up maybe 5% of the population. Instead, they often look for ease of use and value for their money (=quality).
      I’ve been buying computers for decades, for my personal use as well as hundreds a year for the organisation I used to work for, and was just blown away by the Mac Mini ($599 USD, I believe) I got last year. My Dell XPS was junk by comparison.
      Anyway, I like sheep.
