  • Just a short view of the Parkeston ~ Hook of Holland ferry, with the High and Low lighthouses which used to do a great job of guiding ships into port.

    Great video, very informative for anyone who's sailed from Harwich. It's such a shame the ferries to Holland are the only ones left nowadays, nice ferries though they are.

    Hook of Holland still has two pairs of lights, one red pair on the north bank (actually right by the Stena terminal) and a white pair on the south bank.

      I must make the trip and visit the hook. I'm told that the town is a great day out in itself.
