Exccellent video! As a practising Catholic, physical attraction is one necessity when it comes to Catholic dating. Otherwise, it will never work. It is not to be confused with being good looking or not good looking. For there are many good looking men and we won't be physically attracted to them and many not so good looking men people would be attracted to. For me, it would be a soul connecting with another soul. The soul God has for one specific person and when this happens physical attraction, emotional connection, personality, intellect, faith etc all comes together as one package. Being 40 and single I am not settling just because a man maybe into their faith or because they have a great personality etc. God designed love to be the complete package.
Exactly this, Denise!! And you're so right, "attraction" has nothing to do ultimately with objective looks, it's with how the person makes you feel, and if you feel attracted to them. Seeing attraction as something that is God-given and holy has really helped to change my perspective as this particular misunderstanding confused me a lot in the beginning of my wholly Catholic dating experience! Thanks for sharing this!
